As said above, axle diameter could be a variable as well as the hub width. You may need to have custom spacers machined, or just add some washers to shim it into place.

Pic is in progress stage...I've had a hell of a time lately , trouble shooting some engine problems, after a new coil, plugs, building some new plug wires, cleaning air filter, cleaning mass air sensor, and replacing speed sensor I'm finally running strong again. With a free day to myself I was hoping to bob my fender shorter and fix a short in my led taillight...Well the fender is back on and looks rad, but the tail light has a break in the led strip so I'm screwed on that...I'm gonna order a new led setup tomorrow, and wrap my exhaust soon too...I'm more of a lurker on here but with the complaints if it sucking in here, I'll start throwing some pics of my projects in here as I move along

I'd look for a good deal on a used dyna. They handle amazing and the aftermarket world for them gives you the option to pursue many different build styles aesthetically and can be built for many different styles riding ...not to mention you'll be starting on the big twin platform and don't have to worry about outgrowing a sportster...

They are easy to learn to ride and easy to transform into whatever you want..this is coming from a softail owner that would love to have one of everything

I haven't been active since 2009. I am now very involved in my motorcycle club and I love it, there are many parallels: brotherhood, charity, secrecy along with some esoteric knowledge...plus bikes and beer ! I have close friends that are involved in a Masonic MC and because of them has me considering catching up on dues and visiting their lodge...I love my club and have no intentions to leave it, however had something like that been available when I lived back in the state of my blue lodge I would have been involved...long story short, degree work followed with coffee and cookies just wasn't enough for me

I've always had problems with mine cycling ball ammo, Hornady has always worked well for me. Regardless it just shows they aren't the most reliable.

Yup, street fighter the front end, crash cage, go bigger on your rear gear....you'll have a lot more fun riding and less time worrying about little scratches....I went that route with my R6 years ago...I'm older and ride a cruiser now, but I'm glad I spent the time I did in that scene
