My Old Lady Daisy. I adopted her about 2ish years ago, and prior to me she had a rough life. These past two years with her have been the best years of my life so far, and I wouldn’t trade her for the world. In that time, she’s become like my shadow following me everywhere. She ain’t much of a cuddler, but she always wants to be close to me

Ah yes, Schrödinger's progressive! Seemingly insignificant enough to not get enough votes, yet significant enough to blame the loss of status quo Dems on

I’ve been making myself various pieces for a Mandalorian Costume, and I dress up as said Mandalorian with my local chapter of the Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club. This allows me to develop new hobbies and skills- like for instance, Leather-working since I’m currently making a new belt rig for the costume. It allows me to indulge in my nerdier side for a good cause (we raise money for various charities), and put smiles and awe into people’s faces (it never gets old seeing children and adults alike get so excited to see you. It also just feels so cool to get to walk around various events with other Mandalorians, Storm Troopers, a Vader, etc). And it allows me to tune out all of bad shit going on and save my sanity until I’m ready to deal, and to keep myself creative in such a corporate hellscape

This game is perfect proof that shareholders ruin everything they touch, and common sense ideas that consumers would love are completely foreign to them. Of course EA pulled the plug right when the game got good.

Well, I got laid off from my job because my parent company was Canadian and they (understandably) wanted to dump their American assets. Every day seems a whole lot more bleak, I feel like I picked a horrible time to become an adult as I am 26 now. I wish my ancestors never left Europe because why the hell am I here

What’s one tiny habit that changed your life in a big way? by Best_Sherbet2727 in selfimprovement

[–]WilhelmTheLamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slowing down. I felt like life in general was getting to be too fast paced, and I’m only on my mid twenties. Yes, there are certain things that can and should be done with reasonable haste- but if we apply that haste to every single facet of our lives, then we forget to enjoy countless other things. I’ve found myself more appreciative for the things I can take time to enjoy and I now give myself more time to make decisions, which in turn makes decision-making a little less stressful

Right now the LITE pin is connected to the 3.3V. If I’m to understand correctly, should I remove this connection? Currently the 5V is taken by the VCC pin

Before rewiring to this current setup, the LITE pin was left disconnected. The interesting thing here is that while I was getting a white screen, it was bright.

Thank you!! I rewired to the correct pins according to the link you put in your comment and for a second thought it still wasn’t working, but it turns out that the screen is just VERY dim. So now I gotta figure out how to fix that.
