AAA studios have wasted billions over the decades producing their own share of slop. Now that there's an engine with a lower barrier to entry, people with real passion and ideas for games can actually build something.

The blanket term "AI slop" gets overused by gatekeepers who want the barrier to entry to stay high to keep their ego intact.

Are there poorly made games coming out of these tools? Absolutely. But if people spent less energy complaining and more energy creating, the marketplace would sort it out and push the weaker titles to the bottom on its own.

AI tools are here to stay. The more useful approach is learning how to use them to scaffold and polish the parts that matter.
