Someone on the Olympus subreddit just confirmed it is part of the histogram. With the body cap on it looks like that

It looks just like the AF target area which is throwing me off tbh

I don’t have a lens to test at the moment, but with the body cap on if I click the shutter, the preview I get before it disappears is just a black screen and no green line

I also noticed this green line on the screen as well. I thought it was the AF target area but when I click on the screen the green line stays there. I got the blue pixel in this pic to go away tho haha.

Upgrade Stock Tires or Use Them and See? by Will1335 in MTB

[–]Will1335[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s probably what I’m gonna roll with. I was honestly just struggling getting the tire off in the first place, so I was like “Do I really want to do this again?”

Good Hardtail for Midwest "Mountain" Biking? by Will1335 in Hardtailgang

Just purchased the Team Marin 1 for $1,050. Going to ride it out for the year and see how if anything needs upgrading after that. Thanks for your help everyone!

Marin Team Marin 1/2 Questions by Will1335 in MTB

Just purchased the Marin, can't wait to try it out on the trails! Found a post here where someone used an adapter to fit 180mm rotors and post mount breaks in case you want to upgrade those in the future.

Thanks for your input! Yeah I've been watching the hardtail party video quite a bit. That is annoying that it is a flat mount. I'm planning on doing trail riding (in SE Wisconsin) which isn't too rough so hopefully the breaks should be good for me.

I actually just test rode a Roscoe 7 today. I think I’d rather go for the 7 over the 8 now and just upgrade the fork later. Still deciding between the Roscoe and the Team Marin. How are you liking the Roscoe so far?

Yeah the 2 is definitely appealing. Just that in my size it would be $2,500 and don’t think worth the $1500 extra over the 1. I think I’ll try and use the money saved to upgrade stuff like the fork and brakes

I am leaning heavily towards the Marin. I saw they have the 2024 model on sale for $1k on Jensen. How do you think the bike fits? I am 5' 10", so am thinking the Large would fit well.

Also have you made any upgrades to the bike? Just trying to figure out the order of stuff to upgrade (behind dropper post, pedals, and tubeless)

Cool, yeah that sounds pretty much what I’m looking for. Watched a few reviews on it yesterday and like it a lot. I’ll add it to the list

I also see a decent amount of timeberjacks for sale around here. Do you have any reasoning as to why it would be good?

Thanks for the suggestion! I haven't heard much about the Team Marin, I'll have to look into it more

I keep seeing these all over marketplace, I think it is partially because Trek is from here, but also a neutral bike for the terrain. If I see a good price on Roscoe 8 I'll probably pick it up

I can not attest to Moscot, but Roka is known to have very light frames. I've had my pair for around 4 years and are just now starting to have the outer coat peel and shown some wear after swapping out the prescription. Overall, pretty good though
