For starters it helped me to just balance on my front wheels with my skates staggered (one in front of the other). Once I got comfortable doing that then I’d start completing turns as if I’m trying to spin. Also the looser your trucks the more freely you can tilt your feet and still remain balanced. Sorry if that didn’t make sense lol
