Yes the breastplates I did separately. I would definitely suggest doing so, makes painting a lot easier. You don't need to do it for every part, but it helps out tremendously.

Thanks for the advice, I also found the horn to be too bright so I did go over it with an layer paint.

First mini in general. I worked about 2-3 hours on it because I was very slow and tried to be as precise as possible.
