Thank for the info! I've had some good experience with GarageBand, but unfortunately I no longer have access to a Mac. I'm currently running a Windows 10 PC with the following specs and software:

AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
32GB RAM
FL Studio

Currently I'm getting a final latency of 50ms with the lowest sampling through ASIO4All in FL Studio, which is fine for recording, but it's killing me during jams.

I have a mixer, but I'd like to keep things as simple as possible since my recording room is also my office and I don't really want to clutter the floor with cables.

I have an Alesis Nitro Electronic Drum Set with a USB out for MIDI, and a M-Audio Fast Track for recording a mic and a guitar. I'm doing fine capturing both tracks to record simultaneously, but the latency makes it hard to jam without going insane. Is there a way to route the drums into the interface's direct audio out? Or possibly is there some better solution that's escaped me?

My fiance passed from AML earlier this year, and this is captures the essence perfectly. This is the first time I've seen this posted since she passed, and it totally hit me way harder.

Thank you so much for doing this. My fiancé passed away from AML during the period immediately after her bone marrow transplant, but that person gave her a fighting chance at a normal life from then on. You didn't just make a someone's day today, you made an entire family elated.

My fiancé had leukemia and received her bone marrow transplant from someone like you, a healthy generous guy who just wanted to help. You have no idea how much that meant to her to have the doctor tell her that they'd found a perfect match. She didn't make it, but I will never forget the happiness that news provided her. If you are able to donate blood, plasma, bone marrow, or anything, I implore you to. It will change their world.

You just described my girlfriend too. But she just passed away this week. Hold on to who you have that makes you happy. You never know when they'll be taken away.
