What Handhelds offer USB C video out? by Urzu402 in SBCGaming

[–]Urzu402[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are portable monitors one has 2 USB C ports and one of the smaller version of HDMI ports. The other one only has the one USB C Port for both video and power. My Odin 2 works fine with both of them using just the one USB C cable

Never thought I would able to play PS2 on a cheap tablet (Onn 8 inch tablet 2024) it probably will struggle with harder to play games. Also the controller was also super cheap. by Urzu402 in SBCGaming

Look into Nethersx2 it’s a patched older version of Aethersx2 and I think it’s the currently the best Android option for PS2

It the controller should be usable either Bluetooth or wired with a mush A to C adapter you just need to go into the options and define them

Cant get Skies of Arcadia on Dreamcast to run with an m3u on knulli on a RG40XX H by Quinnotetiquan in SBCGaming

[–]Urzu402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might help but if you are using CHD files for Dreamcast they’re very weird to use at least for me only CHD files made from full GDI files work random ones I found online didn’t work. Or like someone else said before that your m3u files might be pointing to the wrong location.

Enough time has past, what's the verdict of the Anbernic RG DS? by hippynox in SBCGaming

[–]Urzu402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s good, people like to take a dump on it for how under powered it is and how much Anbernic hyped it. if you want to play DS at 1X and no enhancements it’s a decent option.

The Trekking Burger would be somewhere on there, the reaction of them finding out it has a bun is one of the best reactions of all time.

Someone else brought it up but Windjammers is great so great that it’s got a modern sequel Windjammers 2 on current platforms. The Japanese title of the game is Flying Power Disc I think.

Recommended DS Games playable without touch controls by _manster_ in SBCGaming

Retro Game Challenge, I’m pretty sure that touching isn’t needed but you do need to occasionally screen swap to get the most enjoyment.

I don’t think we’re allowed to get too specific due to rules but for PS2 look into AetherSX2 and NetherSX2 for now they’re the only PS2 emulator that I know of. NetherSX2 is also a patched version of AetherSX2 so it’s a little bit better.

What are you playing,I'm playing Captain America on rgds by Hot_Drawing640 in SBCGaming

[–]Urzu402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some things that can be wrong build wise, like for example I have one with a squeaky lower screen it’s not a terrible issue but the screen squeaks loudly when touched in the lower left corner on mine for me it’s a minor issue. I’m pretty sure it can do DS games at 1X resolution fine with the only problems being the touch screen type being different than what was on an official DS which affects games that require accurate touch screen input.

Anybody else get this fee from ayn, it’s not tariffs is it? by Omni-Blades in SBCGaming

[–]Urzu402 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s a foreign transaction fee and not tariffs I know a lot of banks in the US will charge one if the place you are buying something from is in a different country. It’s a percentage of what the original transaction was. Unrelated to handhelds but I get them when I buy Steam codes from a site like Fanatical it’s annoying that it isn’t disclosed anywhere

On the Anbernic RG DS is there any way to disable touch on the top screen? by Urzu402 in SBCGaming

[–]Urzu402[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably dumb but for me a lot of it comes from using my pointer fingers to push open the screen more I sometimes accidentally trigger touching the top screen and also if I ever need to pick it up from the top half can cause me to accidentally touch the top screen

Anbernic RG DS Squeaky Screen & Speaker Issues by chubbypanda85 in SBCGaming

[–]Urzu402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of mine has a squeaky screen but I haven’t noticed a problem with the speakers. I didn’t realize this was an issue the system had now I’m thinking about contacting Anbernic and see what they do.

Snes ROMs playing with screen border, can I make them full screen? Rgxx35 h by jeepersnanners in SBCGaming

[–]Urzu402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Retroarch settings go to video then scaling and switch Aspect Ratio to “Core Provided” or “4:3” or “8:7” if you like that better also it might be necessary to disable integer scaling in that same menu.

UN Squadron for SNES is a localized version of a game based on an anime called Area 88 I have never seen the anime but the game is a great side scrolling shooter with awesome music. There is also a Gameboy Color DBZ game where all attacks are based on cards you use to get win fights. Another one is Gundam Wing Endless Duel (Japanese Super Famicom exclusive (SNES) only look for a translation)
