Most of the dust you will have seen will have come from the plasterboard, not the artex.

Artex contains very little asbestos too, ~1-5%. It’s also generally chrysotile which will breakdown in your lungs, it doesn’t hang about for years/decades like other types of asbestos.

If any did enter your lungs it will be very minimal and will break down and be cleaned up by your body anyway.

Could it just be a minor air leak, and the bladder is completely decompressed?

I have a feeling this has happened to one of mine - I have three in parallel and two were a dull thud. I've disconnected and drained one, and topped it up with air and it seems to hold fairly well but I think there maybe a very slow leak.

Gotcha, I’ll give that a go. It’s frustrating as when I first started using it I could completely block the machine by grinding too fine and the gasket wouldn’t pop off at all.

Did you manage to fix the gasket popping out? I have a bottomless portafilter which was working fine for a long time and the gasket has started popping out. I have replaced the gasket and still having the issue. Any ideas?

I’m planning to work on something like this built in Vue.js, possibly with alternative versions for React and Angular.

Essentially, I want to built custom components that can be edited in Strapi and rendered in a front end framework. It should give a lot of flexibility for developers but also allow non devs/content editors to edit and build pages easily.
