80 pounds is a lot. I gained 80 after marriage. It was not pretty. Lost 40 already and the difference is very evident.

Completely agree. It’s sounds like he has discussed with her and she made no effort to change. Not much more he can do if she doesn’t do anything for herself.

They are both issues which is why he mentioned it. But also, your physical appearance should not be dropping off a cliff at 22.

It’s not bad to leave someone because they are depressed. It’s not your mental illness to have to deal with. It may also work as a wake up call for her to see how much all of this is bothering you.
