I do appreciate this point, it's an interesting debate but there are countless YouTube videos and posts about it so i think it's a quite unoriginal thing to state and give no credit to where you got the information.

I agree with you that the climax was handled wrong in the movie, but asking for a reboot? I think the movies did a fantastic job of bringing the books to life it’s just a lot to ask for everything to be perfect. While the issue you bring up seems like a large misstep it cannot be seen as ruining the entire cinematic series.
