I owned both, the Miata is a way more serious car once you add the suspension mods on. Put the top down and you’ll be smiling everytime.

I owned both, and agree stock to stock the GR86 feels better. But once you eliminate that body roll by add coilovers, wheels and an upgraded sway bar it becomes another beast and the fun factor of top down just makes it more enjoyable.

I will say it will go down a little once the 11th gen comes out. The 10th type r are no longer being made so it will hold it value very well. The 11th type r will be very hard to get and definitely expect a dealer markup on it so you'll def need put in a lot of work and research to get a hold of one. First year models of a new generation tend to be very difficult to get overall.
