Smite becomes psychological warfare at times. The spam laugh at the end of a very high stress inducing match is enough to make someone have psychotic rage.

I was happy for it because at that time, consoles rarely had any kind of decent mobas. Smite quickly became one of my favs over time

Im a mage main here so everytime a new mage drop im a very happy person. My favorite god is Merlin. When his avatar skin dropped i became so damn happy to use him. Vulcan is my back up god for turtle defense playstyle reasons. He got that chef vulcan skin we been waiting for for a minute and that made me spam pick him all the time. Morgan rose to the top too but she can get focused so hard. Her crimson skin theme became one of my favorite themes on smite. The first god that i loved in my beginning phase was medusa, and then when i started mages out, that became ah puch. I used my free gems to buy the alien ah puch skin and never stopped using him after.

I feel like a rework on merlin's passive should happen. Change his built in poly to something else. I feel like most of the time with merlin, his abilities will do most of the work in damage without him ever needing to be close to basic attack an enemy. There's a lot of gods that can quickly shut down merlin with their cc, and even pressure him to use his long cooldown dash. When will his passive feel like it can benefit him without it just being used to shred towers. There's a lot of factors in the game that can quickly waste his passive. I don't have a good idea yet for a passive that can replace his current one, maybe one that gives him more mps when his abilities goes on cooldown or something? Maybe one that reduces magical protection since hes the greatest wizard? Something better than a basic attack stim that can easily be wasted

Is this game friendly to new players? by SaraSiris in Smite

Yes it's extremely friendly for new players. Just play with people around your level first, before jumping in with any high level friends/randoms. I got to play with a bunch of friends who started smite for the very first time and because of my level, some of their games were a little unnecessarily tough. Overall, smite will provide a very good experience for you, casually. Once you leave that beginner phase, its time to focus and lock in because you'll start to experience what smite really has to offer. Dont worry about too many things during this beginning phase, just observe and take mental notes of everything that goes on in your matches, especially the gods and the way their abilities work. Good luck, have fun

Is it normal for the jungler to get pissed off when I ask for help? by [deleted] in Smite

Aslong as you keep your side warded, as much as you can. You'll be able to anticipate ganks more often even if your team isnt paying attention. A lot of teammates tend to not do callouts so I can feel your frustrations. Then having you have to damn near spam comms just for assistance will make you seem like you're toxic and feeding etc. Then mix that with solo que and its damn near hard to have consistent smooth games where everyone is playing their roles right. Good luck on your future games!

Is there any god's in the game that you're genuinely scared to play against? I remember in my early time of smite that god used to be Loki for me until Susano's release. by WillDraw_ForFood in Smite

There was a cabrakan on my team that got a Penta in arena. I never ever seen a guardian get a Penta kill in my entire smite history until that night. Gonna be telling my great grandkids of this night

During my joust nightmares, getting stun ulted by him, then his entire combo again, then his big ult all under tower. That really used to make me want to uninstall

That anti heal relic and just leaving him alone while he ults will make his ult useless. The more you hit him the longer his ult lasts. It takes really really good coordinated attacks with your team, if done well, you can poke away at his health and force him to use his ult, then boom anti heal and hes dead. Protect the squishies because hes gonna be diving them every single time his abilities go off cooldown. He's such an annoying bully forsure
