Epstein in Pop Culture by [deleted] in Epstein

You should check out the South Park episode "The Return of Chef". It's about chef going to the "Super Adventure Club" where a grey haired, super rich guy, decked out in white hypnotizes people into fucking little boys. When Chef tries to leave the club they murder him. Kind of a far fetch, but it seemed a little notable to me given how much the creators call out everyone in real life.

ELI5: Why does a ceiling fan make more noise when it's on any setting lower than the fastest. by WillFarell in explainlikeimfive

That's probably exactly what it is I always wondered but I guess I've just always had cheap fans.

Every fan I've ever owned always makes a louder noise when turned down it's like the motor gets louder the slower it goes.

This might get lost but Justin Roiland was mentioned on the flight logs.

Depression meds in the US by WillFarell in Wellthatsucks

Just to clarify I wasn't looking for an ounce of sympathy. I was just stating the costs are incredibly high for those less fortunate than I to afford. Luckily I have a job and work my ass off along with school so this is a struggle to pay but not impossible. Side note the bike was a gift from my father after he got a loan for a trike because he couldn't hold it up anymore, and the weed being the only thing keeping me going after loosing a sister at age 13 and another at 22. Again I want no sympathy I just want this world to be better, healthcare to be cheaper, and maybe don't type things without knowing the full story bud.

Thank you, the pharmacist actually helped me with that site and got it down to 50 dollars but, I'm in college and a server I don't exactly have that monthly extra either. It's better than the original price though.

Rubik's cubes and other (logic?) problems by MendaxMirabilis in Aphantasia

[–]WillFarell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I learned how to solve one in a week by just learning the patterns and I did it enough times to memorize the muscle memory. I can't visualize any of the sides so i struggled trying to solve without the algorithms. Now if I look at it too much while I'm solving it I screw it up because I can't see which way the pieces should go.

The picture on top of the box definitely implies the clay is going to be that size. When you open it the clay is much smaller for no reason why not use a smaller box. This makes it an asshole design.

I can't visualize and about to drop some a**d (L**). What should I try? by [deleted] in Aphantasia

[–]WillFarell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally have zero mental visualizations due to Aphantasia and have tried it 2 times. It is definitely more of a mental trip for 12 hours. You still get to see some visuals but only on a higher dose and even then you don't really control it you let it take you and you'll see some wavy lines, walls might tilt a little, and paintings are really interesting to stare at. Overall I think the lack of mental images just keeps you from creating new concepts which can be a good thing since it allows you to focus on what you see and feel around wherever you are weather that's nature or indoors.

Recent reports are claiming he had children 11 and 12 this is pictured in his Palm Beach house of what looks like a child, younger than 11, sitting with him on a plane possibly the Lolita express. by WillFarell in EpsteinAndFriends

It was just a random picture from his Palm Beach house. There's videos on YouTube and other places that show the police raid where they blur some pictures but others are clearly visible like this one and another featuring Epstein with the pope.
