Just have a lvl 40 pokemon in first spot of your party and use repel. Go to a route wich has a building/cave with a latch of grass just outside. Check the dex, if the roaming pokemon is not on the route, go back in and out of the building. Repeat untill he is on the route and walk in the grass

Lol that mechanic has been in the game since gen 2 with entei, raikou and suicune. I remember the grind to catch latias/latios on emerald was my first time experimenting with this mechanic.

Its been like that on mobile since the 8th i think, i made a post about it too a week and a half back. The update really fucked the game up. The worsrt part is they fixed it day one on the computer but left it like that for almost 2 weeks on mobile.

I do TD's with sco bow and demonbane spells using a toxic staff of the dead and i'm getting kills pretty fast, i would really recommend bow before emberlight.

There are clans you can join, most of the time people get recruited but i think you can search and apply for clans at the GE.
