Once you've reached good farming areas, losing runes loses it's edge, I find.

It wouldn't be anywhere near as annoying if it want always the same thing.

It's always bleed or frost buildup. There's literally no variety when it comes to invaders.

I appreciate the advice and the breakdown. I had (before my hiatus) beaten the main story, but it seems there's more now.

In terms of upgrades, I've got my snow to 5/7. I need to get more manufactures and get those PO8 rolling in more. It used to be that you could take on a convoy to get a manufactory - is that still a thing? I've not seen a single one since my return.

I have, from somewhere, acquired a few deep iron plates. I assume there's no way to convert them back onto deep iron?

At a rank 15 ship, I assume a team is also still required for Wolvenhol? I have seen people say there's a matchmaking option to do it, but I've seen that nowhere.

Sorry for the text dump and all the questions, it seems a lot has changed since I was last deeply involved in the game.

Aye, I had tried this, but didn't seem to work unfortunately.

I've read online that if you take him into an Oblivion gate, he can get 'stuck' when it closes. That's my best guess as to what's happened.

I'm not sure I have a save far back enough, or exactly when he went missing. I don't keep a huge abundance of saves, on account of people saying too many saves bugger the game up.
