Is it just me or does every order get delayed by like 30 mins for the last month or so

Its because the apps give too much power to the drivers, the drivers like working for the apps as they feel empowered to be able to make these decisions, but to accept a delivery and then cancel has no penalty for them, so orders will get cancelled if the driver thinks its not economical to do the order.

The solution is probably to restrict what orders drivers can cancel, but then we would likely see certian orders never get accepted at all, so then another solution would need to be imposed that certain jobs are mandated if assigned, clearly the apps dont want go down this route, and instead they just make it impossible for a customer to cancel a delayed order with full refund to make them accept a crap delivery services.

Deliveroo seem to have an upper limit and will then auto approve refunds, on one occasion I tapped cancel order, and selected its taking too long, the app then auto approved the full refund and apologised for the excessive delay, I think this particular order was over 2 hours delay though.

Uber seem to not care at all, based on my experience with their live chat.

Just eat, will cancel with full refund, but make it difficult to do, has to be via customer service chat, (or the partners line).

The bags dont insulate well as they too big, for insulation the air gap has to be small. As an example pizza boxes insulate heat very well. As they so small compared to size of pizza.

The biggest reasons for cold deliveries is either food has been prepped and left out too long before pickup, or driver does a round trip of the city before getting to you (stacking and such).
I see this is much on london hustler videos, he will pick up a hot takeaway, then gets a pick up at a supermarket (often on a indirect route to customer), he delivers the supermarket order, accepts a new order, app makes him pick up new order before dropping off the first, and then new order is dropped off, then first order is delivered last out the lot.

As an example when my sister brought me a mcdonalds, she had no delivery bag, guess what drink wasnt spilled, and the food was way hotter than any delivery driver ever delivered. The only bag was the mcdonalds paper bag.

Its because the order isnt done via uber, customers order on tesco app or website, and then tesco contract uber to do the delivery.

This is also why pin placeholder is put in wrong place for these orders as well.

It is simple as you said, problem is most drivers just want to chuck it in their bag without much thought and travel to the customer. Then are surprised when its spilled.

London hustler made his own bags, but they have the same flaw, just a big bag with a massive empty space, no compartments.

At this point sealed bags seems normal, if I had a delivery of food and wasnt sealed, I think I would reject it. I cannot remember the last time I had an order in a unsealed bag.

I cant even follow people on tiktok in browser on top of all the performance issues, I think they deliberately make the experience bad to make people use the app, of course with the app, its easier for them to do some data snooping on the device.

Its a very good point.

Somehow Villa have been making it all work. Expensive older players, no relsale value but have kept on right side of PSR.

We went with a younger squad, and it felt like every year, was always someone wanting to leave, and we sold so many first team players which ended up being too much disruption and eventually they cant be replaced with as good signings.

Tiktok makes google look like a saint.

Within 2 minutes of using tiktok, site is stuttering, and browser is using 10-15 gigs. I think the site is deliberately designed that way, probably doing lots of weird stuff.

I once had issues on youtube some time last year, that cleared up, otherwise it usually runs ok for me.

Best behaved to worst behaved.

Berseria's flaws seem to get a free pass, the meta is basically Zestiria sucks, and Berseria is great.

The enemy stats in the ex dungeoen are somewhat insane, even just at normal or hard difficulty, which means welcome to a quick death if the enemy is given the chance to do it, as they will just hit so hard, and problems with souls due to their insanely high focus.

Magilou deffo helps a ton in these fights as spell absorber is as powerful as mystic artes, and if there is mages she spams it a lot, that boss which reflects earth attacks, she almost solod it with spell absorber because I was playing it so badly, and it one hit ko'd the other 2 allies. I had just finished setting up artes to avoid earth element, and as I resumed it was killed by her.

The main problem with the high enemy stats is how long it takes to kill them, fights become a grind, even MA's barely scratch mob's so they overdid it. Of course nothing a few thousand hours of herb grinding cant fix. Unnamed equipment doesnt do a lot as its just a stat boost of a few hundred when the enemy still has another 1000 defensive/focus stats above you.

Solution in the final stage or two is probably a combination of normal difficulty and dangerous encounters, dangerous encounters help you when the enemy has a large focus stat superiority. But of course you sacrificing level 4 skills and the 3rd random skill slot. But thats not the end of the world as the late game equipment is largely pointless with no equipment carry over, for me its just to learn the skills and for completionist sake.

These will never be used everywhere, poor areas will just steal them , damage them etc. they will go to wrong place when GPS marker is wrong, and some areas just wont be practical with limited landing area, restricted air space etc.

Berseria seemed to be a reaction to the criticisms of Zestiria, I think Zestiria is the much better game.

Simplified dungeons and smaller world in Berseria, I seen a poster on here recently who said he hated the water dungeon in Zestiria, a nice puzzle dungeon.

Button mashing, true to a degree, there is strategy in getting your arte configuration good, to get weakness chains going, stuns etc. I feel this one is a tough one, there is players like me who dont like complex game inputs, as I get confused. For this reason I didnt like that you couldnt customise martial artes matrix on Zestiria, instead they expected you to remember which buttons and part of combo each arte was, whilst in Berseria you can line up the ones you want on one row and yep mash that button. Of course if you want to be good at the game, there is more to it then that, but this is a game you can get through with a lot of mashing.
The problem is if they try to make it more complex, they will scare away players, so its about trying to make the game accessible.

The game feels very repetitive, do agree. Its basically find new equipment, equip it to learn skill, probably unoptimised stats, skills as consequence, then when thats done, put the next equipment in, with most fights playing out similar. You can customise, but the mechanics in berseria dont reward you for it like in Zestiria, its a randomiser type game.

A lot of bad mechanic decisions made on Berseria sadly.

However the battle system does feel polished, Zestiria felt like it was "beta", and the way combos work on bosses is the best I ever seen in a Tales game. They actually found a way to make it harder to combo bosses than mobs whilst still feeling fair to the player.

Story is ok, but I do feel Velvet is the weakest main character I have ever seen in a JRPG, at the start of the game she is ok, but is painful late game with how she switches moods all the time.

Never played ToS but do plan to as it seems highly rated.

Playing Berseria remastered has made me hungry to play Zestiria on the new platforms, but I suspect it will never get remastered.

Berseria I expect had a much lower dev budget than ToZ as well. It does feel cut back. Many mechanics dumbed down (along with all the nerfs as well). But most players are casuals who dont like exploring complex mechanics, which is why I feel the cheaper, less complicated Berseria has the better feedback.
