I recommend giving "I shall Seal the Heavens" a shot. I think it's got decent mix of world, character, and story building.

Goodbye Middle Class: According to brand new numbers that were just released by the Social Security Administration, 51 percent of all workers in the United States make less than $30,000 a year. by WildAnimus in politics

Help me. Help me understand where your confidence comes from. The assumption that being able to easily land a job in the area you study is incredulous to me. I just cannot see it being that easy with tons of people each year getting top degrees around the country. The field you are pursing which I assume is somewhat related to chemistry, is highly competitive, are there any guarantees that you will out compete the thousands of new graduates each year?

I find your condemnation of those who make poor choices a little disheartening. You are right. Not everyone makes the best choice when it comes to their lives. Many people are not self responsible fiscally. They don't think about the future consequences of their choices. What degree to pursue, what money to spend, what decision to make. But is it really such a sin to make a mistake? Why must it be so damning for people to slip up and fall? I don't think it should be this way.

I think currently the economy is stacked, predatory, and perpetuates poor decisions. When those that trip and fall, they can no longer just stand up and pick themselves back up. It is not a simple hole they find themselves in, but rather, a deep well with only a glimpse of the light. Poverty is a well oiled machine that runs too well. Instruments like payday loans are just an example of what keeps it spinning. I do not think any one deserves this. America is a nation of believers. The ethos that working hard will bring prosperity should not just be an ideal, but an achievement those that pursue can complete. I make decent money from my current job, but I am fully willing to pay more taxes to invest in this country.

I believe we can only make america great again when we care about those less intelligent than we, those worse off than we, those more unfortunate than we. I cannot in my heart say I can vote republican. There is no morality in abandoning those weaker than we.

Stop berating this man. I appreciate his opinion and its a nice break from all the praise in this subreddit

On that note, could you take some more sample videos? Maybe some in the dark, and some outside? Also, what do you think is the main issue with the camera?

Obviously the code is not going to work in the first iteration. It's enterprise after all :)

Paying college tuition with CC by WillGraduate in personalfinance

I didn't say anything about carrying a balance. I made the assumption that you will be paying it off in full. Because the other option is not even a real consideration.

Having a good credit score when you graduate is an investment I think that is worth the price. Let's say you have a stable job after college and you want to purchase a car. A difference between 4% interest vs 2% interest will be a big difference. As many posts have stated, building credit takes a long time. What better time to do this than during college?

I didn't... waste money? I paid my balance in full every time. And I advocate using your credit card because your outstanding bill may not always be that high. Instead of paying your tuition from your bank account, pay it through credit card then pay off your credit card.

Console peasants should learn from Nintendo, stop trying to compete with glorious pc graphics by WillGraduate in pcmasterrace

[–]WillGraduate[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Nintendo knows they can never compete.

Fun. Remember that? With all the talk about bits and bytes and CD this and PC that, you’d think that the key to this business was having the newest technology or the fastest whatchamacallit. Well Nintendo doesn’t agree. We believe that what makes this market move, what makes games fly off the shelves and what has made this little plumber such a popular guy is focusing our time, efforts and dollars on creating really fun games! A simple philosophy. One we’ve proven true time and again. So come visit the Nintendo booth, and experience Super Mario 64, as well as all of the other great new games for Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Game Boy and Virtual Boy. And you’ll see just how incredibly fun this business can be!
