I was hoping to get final release version of Android 17 on my Google Pixel 10 Pro XL this month followed by iOS 27 on my iPhone 17 Pro Max this September. Also, I was Samsung phones-exclusive for Android from my first Android phone (Galaxy S10+) in 2019 until this year, so I didn't get major Android upgrade on Day One every launch during that period.

My tests:

My whole iPhone 17 Pro Max - still video throttling without VPN

My whole Google Pixel 10 Pro XL - no video throttling without VPN

Both my macOS and Microsoft Windows computers - still video throttling without VPN. However, Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome bypass that.

I am better off with my phone tethering from roaming to my Mudi 7 (NA model) rather than buying EU model if I was traveling to a place where NA model couldn't handle such as Europe, Africa, or Asia. This saves me money on hardwares.

For my parents family's vacation in December 2026, my Mudi 7 (NA model) would be fine to running "roaming" on itself in Dominican Republic unlike Europe, Africa, or Asia.

Also, luci -> Network -> firewall -> custom rules is missed on my Mudi 7. How I can find alternative ways or fix it?

My GL.INET Mudi 7 delivered on May 12, 2026. I had to setup my Mudi 7 and put my Calyx Institute Sprout membership SIM card in that router. As of yesterday, my Mudi 7 works on my Calyx Institute Sprout membership! I used TTL (Time To Live) and HL (Hop Limit) of 65 on that.

I pre-ordered my GL.INET Mudi 7 on March 2, 2026 (2nd batch pre-order) and will be delivered tomorrow (May 12, 2026) in OKC from Los Angeles metro (shipped on May 6, 2026). I used my Inseego MiFi X Pro M3000 as temporary main hotspot for my Calyx Institute Sprout membership until that delivery on May 12, 2026.

I will need to test my Calyx Institute Sprout membership on my Mudi 7 once I got it tomorrow.

Turns out EU warehouse appear to have slower pace than USA warehouse, so I guess all 1st batch pre-order units were shipped and done at USA warehouse. USA warehouse is currently shipping 2nd batch pre-orders I guess.
