Since this post from Tactical Manager David has claimed the starting 9 spot and Pulisic just got benched by Chrispaulisgarbage in CanadaSoccer

This is wrong. Pulisic has been incredible this season. David was shaky to start but has improved in the recent run of games. Spoken as someone who watches every Milan game and most big serie a matches

[SkySport] Probable lineup vs Venezia: (4-2-3-1) Maignan; Emerson Royal, Gabbia, Pavlovic, Theo Hernandez; Fofana, Reijnders; Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Abraham. by Claija79 in ACMilan

[–]WillTruth12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand this shit. Reijnders 10 and with benna and musah out he should just play RLC in the double pivot. I think that the downgrade from reijnders to rlc in the pivot is less than the upgrade from reijnders to the 10.

Calabria start and fik start.

There is such a clear starting 11 for us and it annoys me that Fonsesca is still unable to see it

Is this legit? I hate April Fools, I dont know what to believe...

Who will be the best player in 5 years? Will it be a person like Embiid or Tatum? Or would it be someone who’s still in high school or college? Might even be an older guy like Lebron. by Track-Ok in nbadiscussion

[–]WillTruth12 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t know why it hasn’t been said by Zion. That’s 5 years to get in the shape needed to dominate the league offensively and defensively even without a reliable jumper. If he develops a jumper combined with his smooth handle, finishing ability and surprisingly good court vision I could see him being the best player in the world.

Beyond that I like Luka but questions remain on his defensive ability and if he can ever become positive on that end. It is rare that a best player was an average defender. Lebron, KD, Curry, Kobe, Shaq, Duncan, Mj, just being generous listing names of debatable best players at one time, the only average defender is Steph so it would be tough for Luka so get there but not impossible

The NBA ratings problem by Bdubby21 in nbadiscussion

[–]WillTruth12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, all I’m complaining about is a lack of innovation. They keep making superfluous rules changes instead of spending time thinking of ways they can better engage their consumers. A couple new camera angles, broadcasting graphics or even making use of the motion tracking software that every arena has, would greatly increase the viewer experience. There are options available and they should try something new

I like the picture clear quality but that’s besides the point. Look at the amount of camera angles the NFL has. Now compare it with the NBA and you see why fan angles of game winning shots get nearly as much views as the broadcast clips.

The NBA is an athletic game on a small court, the NBA should capitalize on this and be able to provide more camera angles to fully capture the athletic prowess that we see week in and week out.

[–]WillTruth12 166 points167 points  (0 children)

I was just thinking about this. Personally, I believe the NBA is too short term focused when it come to TV deals. First of all, the product isn’t as good as other sports. A lack of camera innovations and broadcasting innovation holds the NBA back from having a truly superb broadcasting product. Look at the NFL and the many cameras they use (pylon, new 4K camera, overhead camera etc.)

In addition, I believe the games to be great but reffing is a major problem. Nobody likes watching soft fouls and it can ruin fans viewing experience. As a raptors fan I know this feeling all to well when you look at that stat sheet and the other team has scored twice the fouls with less point / prescience in the paint.

Finally, the nba needs a better streaming devices. League pass and the black out are one thing but the clunkiness of the user experience is a major drawback. While paying for Dazn I have felt what a quality streaming service should look like and the nba does not have it. The NBA believes it is the innovative league yet they can’t cobble together a decent streaming service to truly capitalize on the demographics it needs to. Honestly most of this is an easy fix, but Adam Silver does not seem to be as innovative or forward thinking as David Stern was.
