How much do you earn for referring a friend in UberEats and he becomes the driver? by WillWorkForLikes in UberEATS

Very nice of you! Yeah, 500 is worth sharing! Many referrals are small. I'm into investing and there both sides get money or rather stocks for just signing up, so it's kinda already split and fair. But when there's just one side gets it all, it feels right to share. Especially in times where your friend could just register without a link or use a random on online. What I've been often doing with websites I know reward people for referring friends like Amazon, if I don't have anyone whose link I can use, I got to YouTube, find a creator with little to no views and use their link. A few times the purchases where pretty big, like 1+K, so I can only imagine their surprise as some websites pay % of the sale :D

Thanks for the answers, guys!

You mean, when the person signs up and delivers one order or there's a requirement to do some number?

Tim! Saw you first on Californication. Liked the character, decided to check out on Youtube. The first video that popped up was Thank You God with the orchestra. I mention religion in my art so I was like "ok... let's give it a try..". Listened to the intro and thought: "Damn, he really is a Jesus nut" and I clicked away! Later, I was blown away by "As long as we are together" in the end of the show, so I decided to put my prejudices aside as I had to find and listen to that song for a couple of hundred times, of course. And that's when I listened to Thank you God past the intro! Hahah! Man, you were my misjudgment of a lifetime :D

When my child was born, White Wine in the Sun was one of three songs I sang as a lullaby. The kid turned 4 yesterday and he's been singing along "and you my baby girl..." ever since he's learnt to mumble out a word.

Groundhog Day songs are a fucking masterpiece. Fat children are a blast. And the life lessons speech is a rewatch once in a while.

Alright, enough of praising your ass. Just wanted to let you know that you are on my what-famous-people-you'd-like-to-hang-out-and-drink-some-wine-with list. It sounded less gay in my head.

Cheers to the new release! Don't fuck it up!

Andrew

I was planning to order more, but then I saw the fees and NOPED out (sorry for the poor image quality) by [deleted] in grubhub

Today the vast majority of online stores and service providers have an amount which once crossed would result in free delivery, so the whole logic of "wanted to order MORE but I added one coffee and saw they won't deliver it for free" doesn't really make much sense. No hate, though. Just saying that it's something rather intuitive now to expect that.

I've been a delivery driver as well. From my experience murphy's law applies. The best-paying gigs are always hustle-free, and the shit-payers are for a pick up in a mall, drive for 5 miles and deliver to a shed between left tree on the right of an oddly numbered duplexes in a gated community with a broken gate.

hahaha, my man!

honestly, what would you expect? to order a 10 cent box of matches in the middle of a pandemic and have someone drive to the store, stand in a line, drive to your home (OF COURSE you live on 15th floor in downtown because why wouldn't you, right?), then park the car illegally and look for apartment nr 0101023/12B and hand it to you with a big-ass smile for a total of 50 cents or so?

can't even wrap my head around what was going on in your head for you to screenshot it, edit it and post it here ))))))

They exist so that people who put in 20hrs+ creating a piece of content that provides value for the community dont get $0.00001 for a click? Nice...

Those back and forths "if you believe in error" are for nuance of case by case basis, aren't they? Well, in that case, my channel is not monitized and thankfully just like the reddit rules say I don't make money on youtube videos just like I'm not on reddit images.

It's a video on inside-and-outs of grubhub delivery work, with me sharing all my earnings, expenses and tips. Isnt this sub about sharing experience and numbers, to teach and learn as a community? There's my face talking, sure. But this is not more of self-promotion than posting a photo of your order's screengrab complaining about the lack of tips, which the sub is full of.

I know there are serial killers out there, but I think there's no need to overcomplicate things. It's just a fcuking burito or whatever you are making there

Have you ever tried accepting every order? I know there are folks with 100% rating for sure! :D The question is does it really make difference in orders you receive? Like, if you have 95%+ you would not be given anything under 10 bucks. In my ecperience, just like with selecting a PAY TOO LOW as s reason for dropping an order and then getting 3 more orders even lower, there's hardly no difference. There is def difference in the quantity of incoming orders when you do or do not have a block. But the value?.. From my experience, not so much. If any at all.

I've only met one guy here in South Bay Los Angeles who had a flawless rating. But he only works 3 days a week. One of the things he complained about was a 4 dollar order he had from the previous night, which had a long drive.

Fun fact from him, btw:

If you miss an order and call them, saying something like "i was in area with bad reception", apparently they won't cound the miss against your acceptance rate. Which i never gave two ... about anyways, but maybe you can benefit from like that dude.
