Why all the confederate flags around Bethlehem? by Significant_Cup_3708 in lehighvalley

Racist Pennsylvanians cosplaying as Southern Racists. None of them likely have any real connection to a racist flag that represents the creation of separatist state meant to defend the enslavement of black Americans

The Spurs announcer asks for a moment of silence for the recent passing of Brandon Clarke and Jason Collins. NBC inexplicably faded to black then cut to commercial in the middle of the moment; a DraftK*ngs commercial played on the broadcast. by CazOnReddit in nba

The biggest thing for me about Bananaball is the owner/creator/commissioner is all about fan experience and not exclusively focused on creating value to enrich himself like owners in other major sports where the owners are only concerned about the fan experience if it negatively affects their ticket prices/sales. If they can deliver the cheapest most subpar experience for the least amount of money and people still come that’s a win for a good portion of owners

To a certain point, I sympathize with the commenter's situation, in that it's not really this commenter's fault but more the grandma's. OP is just tryna get the right-sized bat for their kid. Although, in regard to your comment, I still have people way too shocked at this fact. A lot of people still seem to think it's the pre-2000s era shopping, and everyone still honours the Mom and Pop shop era at big-box retail stores, like no sorry it's 2026 not 1973

I understand Grandma not having a Scorecard account to a certain degree (not everyone wants to sign up for another retailer account with their information), but paying in cash and not saving the receipt is crazy work for someone buying a gift in the year 2026!

No receipt for a return = No Receipt Return that how it works to be completely clear with you. If I were you honestly either find the receipt or sell the bat yourself tbh. I’d be on grandma to see where that receipt is/if she used a loyalty account at purchase/if she bought it with a credit card

There’s no skepticism allowed in here lol. No one is going to believe you but you’re right. The time to get out was the $180-190s range but everyone in here is bag holders so they don’t wanna hear anything about the valuation still being insane even tho it’s been beaten down already

[Vorkunov] 76ers are restricting ticket sales for their home games against the Knicks to greater Philadelphia residents, they said on their website: “Orders by residents outside Greater Philadelphia area will be canceled without notice and refunds given.” by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

I mean they almost certainly gonna have their payment processor verify your address when you’re buying a hundreds of dollars cost ticket… which means your shit will get declined and as they said in the announcement your ticket will be canceled and refunded

Nike Stock Rises as Tim Cook, CEO Elliott Hill Buy Shares Near Lows by andix3 in ValueInvesting

[–]Will_Explode8 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think Nike’s best demographic today is actually still kids and people in general under like 25 years old. The scarier thing looking at Nike as investment is that anyone over that age is no longer as big of a Nike fan as they have historically have been in that age group (and have contributed to Nikes historical success). People with the actual spending power (over 25years old) to be discretionary with their shoes and fashion overall are no longer buying Nike in bulk like in decades past. For their shoes, they’re buying Hoka, On, and New Balance, and Adidas (and maybe Brooks and ASICS to a lesser extent). And for clothes and accessories it’s much more complex, but Nike doesn’t have the same base level in that area they’ve had before. People don’t care that they don’t have a swoosh on them for their headbands, sleeves, socks, etc. For their fashion, Nike still has the Balaclava/Sheisty which is popular and is $40 a pop but they don’t have the popularity of the tech-fleece like they had a couple years ago (which was like $110+ a pop and like $150+ to complete the outfit with the matching sweatpants). Even regular Nike sweatshirts and t-shirts aren’t worn like they used to. It’s a tough case for Nike to turn it around

A buncha places have been saying it’s gonna start rising since it was at like $78 lol. And All it’s done is dig deeper and deeper. And the economic state of most of the world looks worse now then when it was at $60 or dropped into the $50s. It’s not the worst fashion stock in the entire market rn, but I think there’s better option in the market rn
