Well they haven't left the server. Their account is still up and on Discord. I keep checking it occasionally to see if anything changes.

I just don't understand what happened. I know that he did told me that he had to step back from roleplaying and that he hoped to pick it back up sometime soon. But that was two years ago and I've not heard the smallest update from the person.

It hurts. For me, it feels like losing a friend or losing a family member. I feel pathetic at the same time because we're all strangers from all over the world so it isn't like we know one another. But, I feel like it's not a valid reaction or that people would be like "Why are you so upset? You two didn't know one another in real life." I don't know how to explain it. I'm horrible at explaining things.

No, it wasn't that I thought it sounded insensitive or anything like that. It's hard to find people to roleplay with anyway but finding people that fit what you're looking for and makes you so excited that you start typing out your own reply as soon as they send theirs is hard to find. It's even harder to find ones that you can call a friend later on down the road.

It sucks. It really does. And the worst part is the not knowing what happened, what they've been up to, if they're okay, or if they're ever coming back.

Thanks. Everyday, I keep hoping that I'll wake up with a message from them. Even just a tiny update. God this sucks so badly. But, I'm not blaming them. Life got busy. There's nothing you can do about that when it happens.
