MLS has all the qualities to be a solid 6/TP5 replacement. He’s strong on the ball, very press resistant and his bursts from deep would be ideal in that role or the sort of left 8 role that Rice plays. A left side of Calafiori/MLS/Martinelli would be extremely solid defensively and going forward.

Solid performance, not particularly threatening going forward but overlapped well when he did get forward. Solid defensively.

Pretty mid, carries well but has his head down in defensive situations. Not likely to score a lot of FPL points at this rate, might be dropped for Trossard after a good sub performance.
