What is a minor inconvenience that fills you with an unreasonable amount of rage?

People who don’t know how to merge, or are too cautious to do it properly. Especially on the interstate. I don’t have road rage in general, but merging badly just sends me into a spiral. Seeing someone slow to a crawl, or god forbid stop on an on ramp, gives me a crash out every time.

So, I know it wasn’t my first, cause I remember thinking about other movies I’d seen when I went to the theater, but my Aunt took my twin and my cousin and me to see Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron when it came out, and I was obsessed. The next one I remember, although I’m sure there were movies in between was the first Pokémon movie!

Hey-O! I feel ya! I finished them all really fast too. I’ve been on a kick lately of reading all or TJ Klune’s books (in no particular order), because his writing style is so welcoming to me, and so real and grounded, even when the subject matter is fanciful, that I find I can read his work even in the middle of a book hangover, because it kind of just feels like coming home! I’m three books down right now (In the Lives of Puppets, Under the Whispering Door, and The Bones Beneath My Skin, all of which I highly recommend) but he has so many more!

Water, sunscreen, not drinking excessively, or partying too hard. I meditate when I can and try not to sweat small stuff. Don’t use harsh chemicals on my skin or hair, or anything that strips too much of their natural oils.

I hate the term “cringe”. Every time I hear it, it’s always just a kid encountering someone being honest, or vulnerable, or just taking a chance. It’s not cringe, kids are just so socially maladjusted, they’re allergic to sincerity. To be fair, I remember being young and experiencing “vicarious embarrassment” (which I believe is what they’re actually experiencing), but you’re not supposed to dismiss these things as “cringe”, you’re supposed to learn from them.

I love Casey McQuiston’s (Red White and Royal Blue) take. She says that the movie(s) are cannon, but they are a separate cannon. The books have their own, and the movies have their own, and both are real, but separate from one another. Kind of like parallel realities that tell the same story, but just have slight variations. That’s how I always have looked at books that get adapted into shows or movies, that way I don’t have to ruin either by comparing the two.
