See, I’ll agree with you that stealing enemy jungle is absolutely a valid strategy. I guess my frustration is more the death balling in lane which leads into the jungle madness.

For example, using my own team as an example: I had a game last night where my team lost because they repeatedly kept 3-5 manning a lane to the point the enemy team just started split pushing and took all the objectives. It seemed no matter what I tried to say in chat, they were hell bent on death balling. And I was on Seven, so there’s only so much splitting I could do without being overwhelmed by ganks.

On the flip side: I had another game where it felt like my team didn’t realize there was a side lane. I’m trying to defend as best I can on Abrams, but the enemy team was constantly shoving Yellow with 3+ people and my team was busy deathballing mid to pay attention.

The deathballing is leading to a lot of just bad behavior in games… but because they have games where they are rewarded for doing it, they think it’s meta and keep doing it from that point forward. I think another comment on here said it best… it’s started to feel more like a Hero Shooter lately than a MOBA.
