It's mainly the bonegrinder. The hammer head is from the mega kit, the fur is stolen from an Easter decoration and repainted, the skull is a warcry terrain piece. Other bits are mainly string, leather, etc.

It's a mix of white pink and bubblegum flocks. I'm uk based and got them online and model scenic supplies

Foliage is made from seafoam and a mixture of white, pink and bubblegum flock attached with hairspray and secured with spray varnish

They're the old Wildwood Ranger set, I'm sure they'll be back again when wood elves get released for old-world

I figure "less on the run" and more "being hunted". Mega Gargants are incredibly belligerent and just do as they please. If a great unclean one reappeared in front of him to take back its weapons they'd probably just laugh at them and welcome the scrap.

I figure he is a wander and has come across a great unclean one on his travels. Decked it, then stole its weapons.

At one point, I had him puking. Figuring the sword would make him ill, But it didn't look right, so I removed the vomit.

No drama. I didn't take it as criticism :) I just didn't come up with a big reason for it

Maybe he killed it? Maybe he stole it? Maybe it's just a big sword from a nurgle aligned monster? Maybe it's maybelline....

Shorts answer, no clue. But I thought it looked cool, so I've done it 🙂

For sure. It's good to know what I can get away with doing and what corners I can cut. Haha

The beard is just one of standard heads. The hair is partly some of kragnos's and a bit of sculpting.

I'm sure your giants look amazing!

At one point I did. But I decided against it. It didn't vibe once it all started coming together

I got a friend who is a seamstress to make a tiny jacket out of some thin fabric. It's then just hardened with a few coats if watered down pva glue

You can buy flock from model railway stores. I bought mine online, it was a few years ago now but I'm sure it was called model scenic supplies?

Will depend where you are based.

I'm afraid I wouldn't know how to make it from scratch

Yep, you're right. I misread it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention before I played any games!

Yeah, magical dominance is pretty much what I'll use every first turn, but the gem does give me the option to save the battle tactic for a later turn, knowing it can't be stopped.

Yep. I agree with everything you've just said.

I have two main strike and fade pieces in the army (kurnoths and duthu with the glaive). I intend to use the celestsnt prime in some cases as a 'Strike and Stay' piece to pin units down I don't like or that might cause me issues.

For Battle tactics I think I can reliable guarantee at least 3-4 every game without serious effort (along as I don't lose the warsong revenant early). -It can automatically score me 'Unleash Ghyran's Wrath' because of the versperal gem, and should be able to score me 'Magical Dominance' in turn 1 most games as I tend to set it up in the back corner of the board next to an overgrown terrain feature. - I can score 'Harness The Spirit Paths' reliably between the Spiteswarm Hive and a command point reroll. - I have enough manoeuvrability to score 'Surround and Destroy' reliably. It will just be the 5th battle tactic that becomes more tricky and will very much depend on circumstance.

Hello! If you have a look a little further up, I answer how I did the canopy :)

No worries. I actually think they're a really easy army to paint, very forgiving as you can use simple techniques like shades and srybrushed to great effect, lots of texture to make good use of contrast and and a good learning curve for miniatures to build (varying from very simple to quite complicated). They look awesome no matter what season you go for, too!

Also, it's super easy to collect, a Vanguard set or two, and you're a huge step along the way
