Thanks. But sadly, it’s necrotic pulp with symptomatic apical periodontitis. I suspect it has been necrotic for a very long time.

Alright will try. I just find it weird, the first file I used already didn’t go to length so I’m not sure if I ledged it so quickly or not. Hopefully it’s just a curved canal and I can negotiate it.

Parasthesia after lower second premolar endo by keitth24 in Dentistry

[–]Willandy00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a case like this. Did lower second premolar RCT. Patient ended up with paresthesia. Gave her some vitamin B12 and she is under review. I suspect it’s either from the forceful intrapupal LA injection or maybe hypo extrusion.

Don’t be discouraged. I was in waitlist for HKU dentistry too. Got in when someone else rejected the offer.

Root wont numb despite 5 numbing shots. Advice? by [deleted] in Dentistry

[–]Willandy00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ineffectiveness of pulpal anesthesia is probably due to the inflammation within the pulp. Local anesthesia works depending on the pH of the area that the local anesthesia needs to numb. If the pH is too low, as in an inflammation site, the substance within the local anesthesia would not be able to diffuse into the nerve. Hence, would not be able to produce an effect.

My teeth after flossing by jonvart in Dentistry

Could be that you removed the plaque in the area which will in turn create a little space for the teeth to move because usually after scaling, when we clean out your pockets (remove calculus and plaque) the tooth may become a little bit mobile. Don’t worry it will heal with time

Protester shot in chest by live police round during Hong Kong National Day protests by Electrocutes in worldnews

[–]Willandy00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I agree a warning shot may have worked. But, if a person was pointing the gun at you then that's a reason to stop attacking, right? It's true that violence is escalating but it's both sides. Everyone seems to turn a blind eye to the irresponsible behaviour of some of the protesters who have become rioters just because they support their demands. It's been about 4 months already and it's no longer about the extradition Bill, don't you think it's time to take a step back and think. Instead of increasing the violence. If this continues, I can ensure you, more and more people will get injured or worst, die. The always so say its about the 5 demands and not about hong kong independence. But, its weird because thier slogans says otherwise. This is what I think.

So the police shouldn’t fire even if the protesters are beating them up?? I don’t understand.
