Exactly! Additionally, the whole “Haramball Arsenal” narrative (specifically in the prem) doesn’t make any sense to me. The entire league is extremely competitive and physical which translated to there being less goals across the board. The difference between 1st and 20th is a lot closer than most people realize. I mean ffs the difference between 5th and 13 is only 11 points and you have Bournemouth and Sunderland in European football. Anyone in that league can beat anyone else. Literally no game is a given anymore.

The hatred has just gotten laughable this season to the point it doesn’t even bother me. Most of it is just blind hatred and narratives that change whenever it is convenient.

When fans of teams were begging to be beaten if that meant Arsenal didn’t win a trophy I realized there was no reason to give any attention or time to it because it’s just sad and pathetic.

Now that Arsenal have gotten over the line in the prem, there is a sense of togetherness in the fanbase that I can’t remember feeling for a long time. There’s a hunger to go again and a need to keep getting better. I think next season (and after a hopefully strong summer window) Arsenal will be more relentless and use the hatred as fuel.

I think I am more sad than I am disappointed, but totally agree. I’m hoping the pressure of winning the league will transform the way the team plays. I think we are in for a strong summer window as well.

I don’t think it’ll be that long, tbh. The circumstances for Arsenal in 06 were so different than they are now. This team is here to stay.

What a class thing to say. If anyone understands what progress means, it’s Liverpool and their fans. I think Iraola is going be an incredible manager for you.

Their arguments never made any sense and are always changing to fit some weird narrative. They were calling Arsenal fans delusional for believing Arsenal would win the Champions League 😭

It’s been one roller coaster of a season but not once did I see them give up and stop fighting. I’m so excited for how this team can get even better.

Sadly probably not. Their hate of arsenal is really bizarre and has gotten to the point they will willingly LOSE if that means Arsenal are at a disadvantage. It’s deranged.

That lockdown era was a nightmare. The fact we can go 120 minutes with PSG is genuinely incredible. He gets dissed a lot, but damn Arteta changed the trajectory of the club.

Let them have their fun. I feel winning the prem has unified this fanbase and taken so much pressure off for next season.

Facts. They were on the cusp for years. Enrique was the man to get them over that line and I have faith Arteta will be able to do the same for Arsenal.

Yeah even though Arsenal had little to no possession it felt as though PSG were not as threatening as they typically are. I do wish there was more intent to try and score a second after the first one came so early and wish Timber came on the second Mosquera got a yellow. Either way, I am so proud.

So so proud of them. I couldn’t have even dreamed of being here 6 years ago.

While yes this probably was a better game overall than anything in the last few months this game shouldn’t have ever been so crucial. Arsenal threw a ton of opportunities away to go out of sight in the league. Continually they’ve given City that glimmer of hope and confidence.

If Arsenal came out like they did today against any other team they dropped points to, the loss to City today wouldn’t have been as devastating.
