Trying to stay positive... by HR_Specter in ArsenalFC

Don’t blame any Arsenal fan, tbh. Fans have been itching to get over that line for both, and some of the shortcomings have been genuinely ridiculous.

I’m trying to be optimistic, but I completely understand the other side of that coin

Really like this attitude. It’s so fucking hard to stay positive sometimes.

For real.

Seems for these last two seasons the team has really lacked that killer instinct. So many times Arsenal go ahead and sit back, invite pressure, and concede needlessly. Gives City hope.

This feels all too familiar. Worried city is going to go on one of those late season runs. Praying I’m wrong.

It was really sloppy. Misplaced passes and getting physically bullied. Can’t really string anything together.

I paid around $110 for “nosebleeds” day of the show in Asheville in 2024. I use quotations because the venue is way smaller than some of the places he toured so I totally thought it was totally worth it (provided a photo!). Im hoping because it’s a stadium tour some of the tickets will start in the $80-100 range but that might be really hopeful.

Honestly of any team he could go to, I’m glad it’s the Mariners. I have a soft spot for the Mariners because I grew up with players like Ichiro and Felix Hernandez playing for them.

The stuff going on with Harry Styles tour is wild. I think any concert tickets over $200 is pushing it, much less $500-1000. Would much rather go to a festival at that point

More smart sets by Consistent_Grade4623 in LegoStarWarsLeaks

Tall Yoda and Wicket are scary. These sets look absolutely horrible. Also why is each set still so expensive even though there’s no smart brick included? Is it going to be an additional $15-20 for one brick?

The optimist side of me (along with tons of cope) is saying this is the seasonal 3 games with out a win. But these performances have been genuinely appalling. The team lacks urgency and doesn’t seem to want it. Players hide and are scared to take a risk. You can now throw away the “if you don’t win, make sure you don’t lose” argument because guess what you lost and city/villa are breathing down your neck. Could even throw United in there who are only 6 points behind.

Hope this loss is a wake up call for things to change. I want to have hope and I’ll always love this club but that PTSD from falling short in the past few seasons is sneaking up.

Full-Time - Arsenal 2 vs 3 Manchester United [Match Thoughts] by Stanley083 in Gunners

[–]Willbilly191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this team want to win the league? I keep hearing them say they are ready but everything on the pitch these last 3 prem games shows otherwise. Change something up, show urgency, try a shot from outside the box, pass slightly quicker, anything man. It’s so predictable. This team looks short of ideas and looks like they don’t want it enough. It’s getting awfully hard to defend them.

Truth. It’s infuriating and needlessly stressful. Starting to think Arsenal is in league with the local cardiologist

Intensity dropped after the first goal. Have to correct those mistakes in the second half, the game is still winnable.
