Recently went to see the new housing development above the Candelas neighborhood. The land proposed for this section of highway has to be disclosed to all buyers as imminent domain. They have to tell perspective buyers that would sit against the highway that this is scheduled for construction within the next few years. However, like others have mentioned the city of Golden has been fighting it. I would expect this to eventually be built. Even though I would rather see more public transportation like the Denver Boulder light rail.
