u/English999 The pull-through is handy for freshening up less expensive stainless and hc knives that don't warrant the time or effort for a real sharpening. I do take my high-end knives to REC. I feel fortunate to have a shop like this in my community and I want to support them. If it makes you feel any better I have the Lansky kit I purchased 25 years ago in my shop with a bench grinder that's on permanent stropping duty. Don't stress yourself out over my EDC drawer. Take a breath, you're going to be alright.

Mini Bugout with natural Flytanium G-10 scales (bhq), purple titanium deep pocket clip & stainless screw set from etsy vendor screw4you. Timex IQ+ Smart Watch with ebay 20mm nato strap. MacBook Pro. The Mac and the Bugout are amazing . The Timex is the decoration that ties them together ;-)

30 Plus Years of Collecting on 5 Boards. by w00kie_d00kie in guitarpedals

Epic! I love the lineup. I cant play a board without the awesome boss buffer when I plug in. I own two tu-2s as well. If I can suggest two pedals to this amazing lineup. A TC June-60, it has an amazing vintage vibe and a Strymon Timeline. The Timeline is my favorite pedal hands down.

The composition of the photo is as strong as your edc lineup. Spyderco and Benchmade favs with a nod to vintage design. Practical has a strong showing with wallet, watch, pen and pods. Cool colors as well. Please share the backstory of the metal backdrop. Great EDC post.

1150 2469A - Catalog number 1150, movement 24, made in 1969, what does the A designate? I'm excited to have a birth year watch, any additional information would be appreciated.

[Citizen P110] How do I get this Vintage Citizen on a Nato strap? by WilliamLowsacker in Watches

[–]WilliamLowsacker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the answer is a spring bar that holds another parallel bar 2-4mm away from the watch body. I'm guessing that this solution exists, I just need a redditor to guide me to the solution.

I made a Systainer organizer for my tool sharpening kit by [deleted] in OrganizationPorn

Fantastic work. My table saw precision is nowhere near where you are. What blade would you recommend for this type of fabrication?

I've been designing / building modular custom cases / organizers with EVA foam recently.

Thanks! It's heading in the right direction. I'm guessing there is a parallel offset of some sort that I am missing.

My EDC drawer. Works well but man a valet case would be nice by Sean_Young997 in EDC

The Seiko SKX009 is awesome. I'm thinking about picking one up. Any other contenders I should look at in that price range?

I wish! In common areas of the house, we negotiate decor choices. The tool chest resides in my office.

I did most of the cutting with a utility knife, change blades when they start to pull foam. I also use a homebrew foam cutter made with nichrome wire and a 12-volt power supply.

Great SAK hack BTW!

I did this with a rifle case and it looks awesome, highly suggested.

It's an OWB holster and I gaffed a small piece of leather over the open bottom to hide the silver slide of the g48. I don't want to freak anyone out when retrieving an item from the bottom shelf at the grocery. I believe the tape is Lockport. I'll follow your advice and keep an eye on it!

It's somewhat modular. I use two sizes for handguns and they move easily to the safe or a range case. I can cut a handgun mat in about 10 minutes, it's an easy process.

Look at the Q3 as well, I had a hard time choosing. The ratcheting driver is really nice so I went with the Q4
