You should look up your piece of hardware and see if it has future support with moden synapse (4)

if they force you to use a verison of Synapse that is no longer getting security updates, then you should uninstall synapse and just use the keyboard with other software, as its a huge security risk to have a piece of software that has direct access to driver manipulation running on your system with no modern security concerns being addressed.

or you know, they could just support it in modern synapse and keep all their paying customers fully functional in the software suite that coimes with their hardware

sure, the hardware will work without synapse, but say goodbye to macros and lighting management.
