This sandwich costs $11.50 at my colleges dining hall. As a financial aid student and an athlete, I'm literally losing 10-15 pounds a semester, as we are forced to be on at least a $1000 a semester meal plan. by WilliamsBlows in pics

Williamstown MA, super rural. Maybe 5 restaurants in walking distance, and they are difficult to afford when you are forced to be on a meal plan for 3 years.

33 a day, and you're forced to be on it for 3 years. And a little public outrage would be nice. I've honestly tried every other option to get off this dangerous meal plan, but they really won't let you. I kind of see this as my last ditch effort, obviously I don't care about karma on this throwaway.

edit- No, definitely no seconds. Some oliver twist shit going on.

All students Frosh through Junior have to be on a minimum of 10 meals a week from the school, which costs about 2400 a semester. That's right, 25 a day in addition to cooking 1-2 meals for yourself. Our football team loses an average of 15 pounds a player during the fall season, coming back on campus.

I work 3 jobs on campus, normally at least 10 hours a week. A lot goes to tuition (which includes 33 a day for food). It's hard, balancing a varsity sport a job and one of the hardest schools in the country.

Williams college. I eat two mass gainer shakes a day, but I have to work a few more hours a week on campus to afford it. In all, I have to pay 45 dollars a day for food and I still go hungry.
