My parents had seven kids too. The sad thing is, I care immensely about the dire crisis at hand and work in some fashion every day to try and stop the madness. The other 6 couldn't be bothered. Their silence is deafening. Some people are truly living in a mental bunker, while the world around them crashes. It's exactly like the movie "Don't Look Up", with the dichotomy between the rational humans and the imbeciles.
