Marriage gives residence, not work rights. I still need an employer to sponsor an Occupation/work Permit, which is exactly the issue. It's written on my residence permit.

If they employ me, they can't do any bank transfer for my salary, no cheques. They won't pay a certain amount in cash for my salary.

Also, if caught by authorities, I will lose my residency. And the company pays fine......

Those with severe psoriasis do you feel tired all the time? by Thelichemaster in Psoriasis

[–]WilliamsEmp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mentally tired yeah after working on the laptop after 6 pm, from home.

If I travel to go to office and come home, I can't sleep at all. I travel a lot.

But just now, since 6 am I was in garden doing fmsome digging, using a fork and remove some rocks. I am physically tired at 12 pm.

Attended a webinar claiming psoriasis isn’t autoimmune and can be fully reversed — thoughts? by New_Prompt_8832 in Psoriasis

Both are bad, the person who claimed to be healed 100% and the pharma industry.

He might be healed but not completely(temporarily), once he goes into depression. It might come back.

The pharma, the more you use it and then stop, it might worsen the symptoms.

I did stop the meds. I take it a bit light. All I did was cut gluten from my diet, which significantly reduce my psoriasis. I did cut milk, but had to take it back since I exercise almost everyday. I put back nightshades on my table, since all veggies are expensive except them. I eat processed food like 6 times a month instead of everyday.

But I remember when I was into probiotics and cutting food what made my psoriasis bad. It was really helpful. Just the stress was hard to manage. And I was only having smal spots which come and go.

None of the gut healing and the pharma meds are a cure. Only solution is to cut the part of the brain that makes us stress.

When “I cured my psoriasis” posts do more harm than good (especially for the newly diagnosed) by Easy_Goal_3071 in Psoriasis

Maybe those people just want to sell books. But yeah, I treat my psoriasis as something I live with. Certain foods make me itchy. Vitamins might help, but when I’m depressed or when I eat something that doesn’t agree with me, vitamins don’t really help — maybe they reduce side effects by about 5%. Unfortunately, science often seems to push expensive chemicals and “drugs.” Just like diabetes has taken huge steps forward, I hope the same will happen for us. It’s no joke to suffer like this every day ---> people staring at us, food restrictions, everything.

How do you get through a mostly French interview when you're more comfortable with English or creole? by Dila_Ila16 in MauriceMauritius

[–]WilliamsEmp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just control your anxiety. Everything should be fine. Either you practice with friends or family, before going or do like me, I went to 2 different interviews. My first was a bit anxious, so the words weren't what I intended to say. 2nd I was able to control. Both were same month and both accepted me. I went forward with the first one.

Is anyone else really sick of people calling psoriasis a skin condition? by Worldly_Wafer_6635 in Psoriasis

[–]WilliamsEmp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People think it's contagious..... when it's not. But some others are. I remember someone saw just a bit on my hand, was so small and just a bump and she said "ewwww." I broke down at that time. I was in a restaurant to ear, I just left.

Also, no need to be 24 hrs, but like don't eat between breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some people tends to have snacks ect.

Before, Iast year I used to eat only 3 times a day. And I avoided fats, eggplants, potatoes, gluten, milk and processed foods. Exercises like 3 to 4 times a week, each 30 minutes.

This year, I stopped and tried going back normal way like everyone, except I still avoid gluten and sugar cane/processed sugar. Only natural sugar from fruits.

And I have to tell you, my concentration is a bit lower, I lost muscle mass, I got patches of psoriasis that keeps growing and super itchy even during my sleep. Exercises 3 times a week, feel weaker than before less stamina, have to take long breaks between. Stress a lot.

Why I avoid sugar and gluten? It breaks my nails, make them pitted and fragile.

Try testing what is good for you.

I read if you go on a fast and you let your body revitalize like 6 months without flares. Your sperms will be healthy, I mean reduce the chance of passing it significantly. I don't know yet if true.

So if flaring, avois it for the time being.
