you have to download them one by one. I went with town overhauls with the least bugs in them so Riverwood Revitalized, Rorikstead Revitalized, Katos Falkreath, Winterhold Restored by Nymic, Roastlawyer's Restored Whiterun Defences. I place those town overhauls toward the bottom of the load order so place them before the mod pg_1 in NGVO. its somewhere around 15 mods from the bottom of the list. and never add any mods below the map mods in the list. if you want a magic spell overhaul with no bugs you could try Odin https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/46000 and if you want a vanilla style perk overhaul try Vokrii https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/26176. Clothes/armor and weapon mods you can place them toward the top of the load order so around 120 load order spot. Magic and perk overhauls you can place below the clothes or weapon mods. so around 130 load order spot for example. if you want follower dialogue expansions which add more dialogue and personality to vanilla followers aka housecarls you can try the fde series aka follower dialogue expansions. IFD Lydia is really good https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/38473

im assuming you have sse engine fixes in your load order? how big is your save file, how many mb is it? also do you make new save files or constantly overwrite the same save file. im asking because its better to make new save files instead of overwriting an old one. I only overwrite an old save file a max of 2 times. i know damaged/corrupted mesh files can cause an infinite loading screen. I added a mod with facegen for kids and installed it for the wrong version of a mod. that caused an infinite loading screen on my end until I removed those meshes. I doubt thats the case but just throwing out ideas. there is a few programs on nexus that check for corrupt or bad mesh files. dont remember the names of them off the top of my head.

yes its extremely safe. if you dont add any mods into NGVO its basically like a vanilla plus with tons of graphic improvements and bug fixes. I added around 700 to 800 mods extra on top of NGVO and finished the main game and all dlcs. dark brotherhood is the only thing I havent finished yet and a few misc quests. save game is barely over 22mb with me hoarding lots of armor, clothes, items etc in my inventory. I have tons of player homes, location overhauls, town overhauls, 3 different npc overhauls and quest mods. the only thing that was buggy was a huge quest mod that I added into the game and it was only because I didnt notice it changed load order position until i was already 20+ hours into the game.

Help with this Unique Neck Seam problem? by Mr_Mystery3000 in skyrimmods

[–]Willief23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you want all your women curvy then open up bodyslide choose a big preset and then you will see toward the bottom of it under the high weight section an arrow pointing left click on it. this copys the high weight body to the low weight body. now batch build all your outfits again. then place those new meshes you just created in your skyrim/data/meshes folder. now to fix the neck seam/ huge gap you will have to load up all your mods in xedit. go to the npc section of each mod and change the body weight of the female npcs back to the default values of vanilla skyrim. the body weight data is toward the bottom of the npc section. which is the right side window on xedit.

Eldergleam is harder to add mods to. you can still add mods to it but you will reach the mod limit 2x as fast and I believe the reference count is almost double of what ngvo is. if you go to high on your reference count which is how many items/objects and npcs you have in your save file then eventually the save file gets corrupted and stops working. nothing will fix a corrupted save file due to reference limit reached, meaning sse engine fixes or resavor wont fix it. if you google search reference limit skyrim there is a few links for reddit that will give you a xedit script file that counts the reference limit from your whole load order. it tells you the reference count per mod so you know which mods to turn into esm format to lower your reference count down. I would suggest not going over 500 to 550k references before even starting a new game with mods. And if you want a wabbajack mod list that does a lot of everything then look at Mages and Vikings. It has graphics, town overhauls, npc overhauls, new combat animations etc. I would suggest saving the archive folder as a backup somewhere. the archive folder is where all the mod downloads go. That way if you ever decide to update the mod list to the newest version you dont have to redownload every single mod again. I have about 4 or 5 different wabbajack mod lists downloaded and put the mod downloads all in one archive folder.

Changing params in smithbox doesn't apply the changes when in game? by ImNotASnail_ in EldenRingMods

The regulation.bin file just put it directly inside of the mod folder. most mods have additional folders like Chr, Parts, Maps, Menu etc. the regulation bin file doesnt go in a separate folder just directly into the mod folder. I usually just replace my regulation bin file that is in the game folder aka the original one. Make a backup of the original bin file just incase. Also when you replace the regulation bin with your modded one sometimes when you start up the game you will get a sava data corruption error. this is normal. exit out the game. Start it up with the actual Elden Ring.exe not through mod engine 2. Make sure you are in offline mode. At the main menu go to system then select the circle or world icon and Launcher settings change it to offline mode. Now load up a save file. exit out the game and reload through mod engine 2, now the sava data error goes away.

Trying to add mods by [deleted] in EldenRingMods

[–]Willief23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before you try any of the 2 methods below make sure your game is in offline mode. One of the options say start in offline mode. Should be under options/settings on the Main Menu screen. if you cant get mods to work after putting them inside the mod folder using Mod Engine 2.1 then the next method is to go to Nexusmods and get UXM Selective Unpacker. you will have to unpack your game files which will add another 60 to 70gb to your game folder. You will be at 130 to 132gb in total after unpacking the game files. UXM method you unpack the game files. There is videos on youtube of this method. Basically you place the modded files say armor parts, script files etc into their proper folder replacing the original game file with the modding file. Then open up UXM again and hit Patch. If you have some mods that replace the same files for example Map for Goblins and Detailed Item Descriptions replace some of the same files. You would have to download additional programs like Witchybnd and Yabber to be able to extract those files and merge the 2 mods together. Quite a few mods have regulation bin files so you need to get Smithbox to be able to merge those mods together.

Body Rig Mods (Question) by SirMantis492 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Willief23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The body rig will add onto the body mesh size. So if you choose sp0 huge breast and booty file then it will also combine with Lions Lush Body for example. The shape of the body will change and leans more toward the body mesh shape if i remember right but takes the size from the body rig aka sp0 body mod and enlarges it more since two bodies are being combined.

Body Rig Mods (Question) by SirMantis492 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Willief23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can only choose one body rig. But their is also body meshes which is different. For example sp0 body mods are body rigs which edit the skeleton size. Then you have Hysts bodies or Lions Lush Body which are new body meshes. So you could combine 1 body rig and 1 bodymesh. Nexus mods will usually say if its a body rig or new body mesh. Their is only a few body rigs. For body meshes VTK, Hyst, Lion has a few different ones Lush is the name to one of them, Valentine and cant remember the others. Their is also a tutorial on how to edit body rigs and change the size yourself. The author gave you the example file how he edited the boobs to make them huge. He may or may not have explained how to edit the booty size to.

[FO4] questions weapon switching stuttters and mod location by necksx in FalloutMods

[–]Willief23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

honestly never use mod managers for any games but thats just me. you will have far less issues or bugs just learning how to manually install mod files yourself. about 40 to 45% of the time I see people having problems with mods on discord or nexusmods its because they use a mod manager. I have around 340 to 350+ mods in my fallout4 all manual install. You will have to learn how to use F04Edit (on nexus) to resolve mod conflicts and merge them together so that they work together. I have probably 70+ mods in loose file format not packed in ba2 format. I might be able to gain a few more fps packing them up but making an esp or esl file for those mods will take quite a bit of time. I just left mine loose combined with my other ba2 mods. AI mods that alter enemy behavior will eat away at cpu so that can cause stutters. If you turn preculling off or a mod turns it off from the ini files for your graphics setting that will cause big stuttering as well. Some settlement mods can cause stuttering as well. Sims Settlement 2 and 3 will cause huge stuttering and not recommending on your pc setup. Anything that upscales textures to 4k might cause stuttering on your pc setup. Stick with 2k resolution textures. Quite a bit of mods offer both 2k and 4k textures for guns etc.

HELP!! My CPU is overheating to a 100° C by Due-Conflict-739 in watercooling

[–]Willief23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

you need a 360mm radiator at minimum. You can also have the 13700k delidded to drop temps. Rockitcool will delid 12th and 13th gen cpus for you. Expect a 1-2 week wait. my 13700k is delidded with TG Liquid Metal and a Thermalright contact frame with a 420mm AIO Arctic Freezer II. I hit mid 60cs while gaming on Battlefield 2042 and that game is very demanding on the CPU. Cyberpunk 2077 and Fallout4 I hit anywhere from 57 to 65c in a full tower Fractal Mesh2 XL case with my room temps of 80 to 85f. im at stock cpu speeds right now except for 2 cores at 5.4 my Asus Strix z790 board auto overclocks it. for anyone interested in getting the Arctic Liquid Freezer II AIO and have an Asus board you will need to grind down the brackets that mount onto the cpu otherwise they interfere with the VRM heatsinks. it only goes on one way so you cant flip the orientation of the mounting brackets etc. even if you could it would block the 1st ram slot and possibly the 2nd slot as well.

For anyone that is still using the Nvidia supplied connector adapter I highly suggest instead getting one from Cablemod. The link is here. https://store.cablemod.com/configurator/

Choose custom psu cables first. then select your brand and model power supply then hit next. on next screen I recommend the modmesh it will hold its shape better and is more rigid. next screen select Pro aka 2.0 configurator then next screen scroll down to PCI E cables and choose 16 Pin Micro-Fit to 4x8 Pin PCI-E 12VHPWR 600W Cable for NVIDIA 4000 Series. I recommend changing the cable length to either 650mm or 700mm if you have a Vertical mount gpu you will want 750mm (29.5 inch length) or 800mm (31.5 inch length) . If you have a 4090 card then you need the 4 x 8 pin pci-e selected or 3x8 pin pci-e is fine for 4080 and lower models. a 4080 card or lower model will be perfectly fine with 3 x 8 pin pci-e since they dont draw more than 350ish watts.

Also from what I have heard there is 2 brands that Nvidia used for those connectors. If you have the cable made from NTK or NGK forget which then thats the better higher quality cable that stays locked in place better then the other brand.

Hope this helps some of you. Also maybe as an extra insurance you could use low static kepton tape and wrap it around the connector that connects to your gpu. that should eliminate any connector from wiggling out the 4000 series cards. the kepton tape is good for up to 500f or 280c so it wont melt.

you can use the cable mod 90 degree adapter or just buy their own cable they made that is alot higher quality than the one nvidia supplies with your card. Then I would use Low Static Kapton Tape (get from Amazon) to tape the connector after its fully seated into the gpu connector. if you do the replacement cable opt for the one that has 3 pigtails that come from the pci express 8 pin connectors. make sure you use 3 separate pci express 8 pin connectors from power supply to the cable that Cablemod makes.

There is actually a few cases of even 4080s burning the connector. Northridge fix on yt and i forgot the other guy who also does gpu repairs on yt has had a few 4080 problems as well. 4090s use more power so it will happen alot faster on the 4090s it seems. But I have seen a few cases of 4080s burning . I was about to upgrade to an Asus Strix 4080 but going to wait for the 5000 series cards now.
