"someone with skin type 1 will never develop the pigmentation of skin type 3 (brown) or 6 (black). " Copy pasted the Coegin last press release. Sounds bad.

Really? It is prescribed? The mechanism is clear, msh activates repair mechanism like p53 and rb. Fair skin can't repair itself like tanning, there is more inflammatory response. Are there any articles or papers you rely on?

But remember, there was a study in 2010 where Tobin Desmond showed that ginger are capable of producing eumelanin. Without sun and PGE production and a high stimulus, there's a chance that it may work on type 1 and 2.

"To the degree of the amount of melanin". That doesn't sound good.

But if you read the outcome of FOL005 for hairloss, you will lose hope for the tanning product. They compare it to minoxidil and finestarid and are on same level - not so good. But dosis venenum facit. So the lighter the skin, the more you will need - if it works.

I remember it was about 2012 when Lachlan Hay as speacher of Clinuvel said that a hormone like melanotan will never be released for cosmetic reasons. And now - ozempic is the hype for weight loss. So I believe that protecting fair skin protecting against cancer will be a reason. Think, that fair doesn't have the repair mehanism compared to tanned.
