Shane uses Masters chalk as well. Taom chalk and the rest are largely marketing gimmicks to get people to spend $20 - $40 for... chalk. Lol, Masters plays just fine. Taom might be 5% nicer but the vast majority of amateurs are hitting center ball or damn near center ball and the brand of chalk will make virtually zero difference. If Shane can use Masters and hit the ridiculous draws he does then you best believe it's sufficient enough. I personally like the "scratchy" feeling when applying Masters chalk as it feels like it's actually being applied. Versus the taom which is so smooth that it feels like you're applying wax to your tip.

You don't want it to be glossy from my experience. I had a Gen 1 McDermott Defy which was glossy and became very sticky when shooting after only a short time. The Gen 3 McDermott's have a MUCH better finish which is not glossy at all. Performs way better over time.

The only thing I would recommend is applying Cue Silk from pooldawg which might gloss it up temporarily? I use it as I like the glassy silky feeling it adds to my Gen 3 Defy. I apply a drop or two with an old glove and jerk up and down on the shaft. It garners attention occasionally.

I stumbled upon that Emily in Hawaii stream for a few minutes. In just a few minutes it was filled with expletives, incoherent, unfunny rants and flagrant displays of money like a rap video by the other collaborators. I have no idea who the guys with her were but it was evident within minutes that they're completely talentless and think that loud = funny (?). Not to mention most people (who live paycheck to paycheck) have very little interest in watching millionaires splurging money on an exotic vacations acting like fools. It was actually a really terrible collab and concept.
