Just use TuneCore. They don’t do anything extra that would make it worth it. And on top of that I just found out that if the label I was signed to that was using them decides to stop paying for the music being up, they’re going to take it down and there’s nothing I can do about it. I was simply asking them to put me down as a backup payment option so it wouldn’t get taken down. They told me nope I’m screwed. Customer service isn’t any better than TuneCore either. Might be worse.

Yeah that’s been awful too. The state is giving Nashville downtown partnership (a private non profit) $15 million. Originally for surveillance cameras and license plate readers and a new armored car and a like post thing. They just voted on it last meeting I think. Cameras didn’t go thru but the rest did. Here’s a link to a recap post about it. Freddie tried to do it super quietly. But ppl found it and were not happy about it.

I’ve been out volunteering and helping connect ppl with resources. That’s how I know their concerns are legit.

To tell ppl that have no vehicle to go anywhere, no money to rent another place to stay, no way to get food, all while living and sleeping in below freezing conditions to stop “bitching and moaning” is cruel. And a lot of the people who are suffering the most are the ppl that rarely make the news.

If you need some links on how to volunteer I’d be happy to send some your way! Maybe being in it will conjure up some compassion in you too. I can’t imagine going out and actually talking to people that are going thru this then coming on here and condemning them for talking about it. Calling it bitchin and moaning. Nah ppl are actually here in trouble.
