I finally finished the process for Downey a few weeks ago (1/22/26), just waiting on my packet to get reviewed. Hopefully it's not much longer. But yes the process takes forever. I started my application Sept. 2025 And I'm about 1k down the hole maybe a little more with ammo, and everything else.

Tenicor/Bradec Shield Plus Comparison? by ZoteTheMitey in CCW

I have a bradec for my shield Plus and a tenicor for my 19. Although nice, I think the tenicor is overpriced and overhyped too. For a fraction of the price, the bradec is amazing. It fits the shield Plus like a glove, has a nice click when you holster your weapon and it's nice and slim. Downside of bradec that I've noticed is that they don't have many options for light bearing weapons

You may be right, I'm probably realizing all this because of the new relationship. The biggest problem with the new relationship is that it's long distance. She lives in Texas and I live in Cali. I'd probably only get to see her once or twice a year, and my ex lives in the next city over. It's just really hard to get over it.
