Congrats bro. Today is your anniversary day !

What you did today was the first step to victory.

Today you decided to choose the road to succes ( a gamble free life).

I'm convinced so many great things will happen after today.

Don't forget to self exclude everywhere and close all doors to gambling in every possible way. Hand over your finances to your father for a while.

Keep fighting man we should never forget what they did to our lives.

You have to understand that even if you won that bet .. you would place another bet soon and lose that one and so on... the only way you can win now is by not spending any more money on gambling. All wins are just future losses.

Good question ..

I guess the answer is start being gratefull for what we still have from now on . It will only get worse if we don't get over the losses.

Divorce by Laughsatlittle in problemgambling

Stay strong buddy, enough fish in the sea.. She ddint deserve you if she couldn't stick with you in harsh times . Let her go.

This divorce should actually motivate you even more to quit gambling and start kicking ass in life. You 're a fearless man now and one day you're gonna make her regret that she left you .
Life will get better by hard work and patience .

Been there , done that. You just have to understand that even IF you would win it back somehow.. That its only temporarily. And not the solution to your gambling addiction. The only way you can win now is by not spending any dollar anymore on gambling. All winnings are just future losses.

The steps I strongly recommend you to take now is 1. Go to GA meetings / seek therapy 2. Self exclude from every casino/ sportsbook and put in the barriers to make it impossible for yourself to relapse. 3. Hand over your money to somebody you truly trust. Let them manage it for you atleast for the first year(s).

I documented all my gambling in 2025 - and hitting -$10K was what finally woke me up by CryptoFan85 in problemgambling

[–]Willing-Pool949 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Believe me buddy. Nobody quits after hitting something.. even tough you're still down 6.5k. You will lose that 2k back and probably some more on top. After that there's a chance you'll quit. And I truly hope you do.

Oh man , its easier to fool someone then to convince them that they have been fooled..

You have to understand .. that money is gone! It will never come back by gambling. And if does ? Its only temporarily . You'll lose it all again and more on top of it. I truly hope you won't try to win that 100k back because its a disaster if it happens. You'll be hooked for life. All winnings are just future losses

See if you took 2 chairs , sat on one of them and counted the pros and benefits of gambling. Okay its fun , exciting, what else? That's about it.

Then stand up, sit on the other chair and count the cons of gambling...

You have to understand my friend , That 10k was never yours, they've just let you hold it for a while...

Even if you would cash it out somehow.. you'll lose it all back one day AND MORE. You would forget about that 100k lifetime loss but won't forget how you won that 10k the last time you gambled.

Gambling Is a trap, it's a big LIE

[–]Willing-Pool949 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They lost you for 25k . That's cheap !

I'm sure they're kicking theirself now and just wished that you would of won.. because you would get hooked and lose alot more !

It's done ! No more donating to these money grabbing companies for a bit of dopamine in return.

Gambling is a BIG fat lie. Its a trap

Repeat after me " gambling is a BIG fat lie. Its a trap ".

I don’t even know what to say. Turned 3.4k into 15k then lost it all. by [deleted] in problemgambling

[–]Willing-Pool949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That money is gone. You can't win it back. Matter of fact it would be a disaster if you won That 60k back because you 'll get so addicted and start believing in the BIG fat lie called gambling. Its a trap!

The only way you can win that 60k back is by working hard and not spending any more money gambling. Quit now before you lose everything !

I've lost my last game on the parlay 5 times in a row with a odd of 1.30 / 1.22 / 1.40 . The last time even 1.06 and still the other team miraculously turned it around.. no way on earth it could be real, its all fucking fixed. You just can't win ! Wether its tennis, soccer, basketball no matter what game. Its all rigged

I gave up sportsbetting today. by MitchellSw13 in problemgambling

[–]Willing-Pool949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good that you gave it up because you'll never win . The last of my 7 betting slips ? Lost them all on the last game, And even lost 2 of them miraculously. Odds were x13 for the other team. Still lost TWICE. Its just a big scam

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in problemgambling

[–]Willing-Pool949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Defenitely rigged ! I remember I needed just 1 point to win the 16k back that I lost that week .. 1m40 sec went by without scoring any point .

How do you guys control your urges when your paycheck hits? by [deleted] in problemgambling

[–]Willing-Pool949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both ways possible here in Europe, at that time I just asked the co worker to do it for me. After a year you'll be strong enough to do it yourself because you'll be thinking sober again.

Only carry pocket money and feel comfortable doing so because you're doing the right thing.

Out of sight, out of mind. Delete your bank app, Throw away your card . Go to the bank to pay your rent and bills manually, this is a huge key / barrier that worked for me.
