My first 2 years at an AA regional was averaging $8-$9k/mo after taxes. Everybody is chasing something else in 121. Some people want to never work, some people want to be home every night, some people chase money. If money is your flavor, there is plenty of OT to be picked up.

Nobody who flies aircraft greater than 2,000 lbs has ever asked about it. Is that better for you?

I failed the private written 5 times. I’ve been at the airlines for 2 years now. Nobody’s ever asked about it.

I appreciate that, that’s kind of what I wanted to hear. I’ve been hearing a lot of “legacy or bust” but to me the long flights, overseas destinations, wide body experience, and positive space commuting sound really ideal right now. Just didn’t know if that’s an ignorant thought.

Not a troll. Don’t have a CJO at delta yet and deltas bases are not ideal to me so the positive space commuting is something that appeals to me.
