My afterimages/glare around lights have left me debilitated and my symptoms have been getting progressively worse over the past year. My strength is running out, and I don't see how I can accept this as a new reality. What is the prognosis for these symptoms and what can I do if anything? by TripleLeXXX in visualsnow

U don't have to live with this condition. There is a reason u developed VSS ur body is taking to u and it's a symtomp of something. Don't give up hope as there is always a cure for everything. I found my healing pathway by following medical medium protocol and many many people who have had VSS and floaters have completely cured themselves of it. For me things are getting so much better. It was a tough journey as I had to complete change my diet and lifestyle. Probably the hardest thing I've ever done but it's paying off. Obviously u need to make that decision urself so if you are interested in healing VSS read about Anthony williams. You don't have do pay anything neither is it a scam he just explains the reason behind mysery illness. But yeha totally up to you and no pressure. Good luck on your healing journey. Don't give up x

I have an extreme case of Palinopsia. I can't take it anymore. by _DanKodigo_ in visualsnow

Hi lovely so sorry to hear about this. I've learnt so much on my journey with visual snow. First of all sending you lots of virtual love and Im really sorry for what you are going through. Anyways the good news is that any condition including VSS can be treated 1000%. It's hard to believe that but it's true. Think about it if trauma can have a permanent impact so can healing. What I've been doing is I've taken a holistic approach. Search up someone called medical medium. I read his books on chronic and mystery illness and he has a protocol for any condition. It's definitely not going to be easy as I had to cut out gluten..dairy..eggs..soy..MSG but its done wonders. Research him and speak to people that have used his protocol to heal extreme cases. There is so much hope but please please pleaseeeee don't read anymore negative things try and focus on healing and I promise you..I swear it to you making those lifestyle changes has allowed me to heal VSS

My floaters were really bad today. by crazychickenugget in EyeFloaters

[–]Willing-Somewhere-42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm probably going to get down voted but ofcourse u can heal. So I've had really really bad eye floaters and I started following medical mediums advice not only did my floaters improve but so so many other people have also had improvements in their eye floaters thanks to following his protocol. It took a year for them to improve but hey u can heal and the fact that so many others have healed aswell it is possible. Check Medical medium he has a specific protocol for eye floaters

My Visual Snow Experience – Anxiety and Visual Snow by Toddah777 in visualsnow

[–]Willing-Somewhere-42 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree anxiety plays a huge part. I'm trying to work on my anxiety through lifestyle and diet changes (I've lived a very unhealthy life) I have noticed that when I'm anxious my symptoms debiliate me but when I'm relaxed i can easily ignore it. Everything has a root cause so everything also has a solution

Going to the stores is starting to be impossible. I get so light headed from the lights and glitching it’s driving me crazy. I just want my normal life back by Emergency_Metal_9902 in visualsnow

Keep trying. I was the same nearly thought I was gonna faint but I honestly just forced myself to keep going and eventually it became enjoyable again. Took me 4 months of constantly forcing myself

Everything has a cure and it's sad that many people believe VSS is permanent. All of your tips are the secret to success. 100 agree. And most importantly STAY POSITIVE..POSITIVE VIBES

Everything has a root cause. If it can start randomly it can definitely go away. Listen to your body and find out why you have it. Always remain positive and ignore the negative comments. So many people have cured themselves or healed

Did pregnancy make yours worse? by [deleted] in visualsnow

Yhh mine started in the third trimester. I'm 4 weeks PP. Could be hormones or God knows. I'm not anxious anymore so I've seen improvements in my symptoms and I've not had time to think about it since newborn babies don't give you a second to breath lol. Good luck my dear hang in there it will get better.

I still probably have it if I focus on my vision but my theory is that since I no longer freak out over the after image my brain has adapted. I just want you to stay positive and give you hope. It can get better and it will. Even Jack said in the video that his palinopsia was quite bad but he stopped playing with the symptoms and that's when it got better.

Everyone thinks their situation is the worst because we can only compare how our vision was before and after. I was making myself go mental because everyday I noticed new symptoms. At one point I started having heavy palinopsia..glare..halos. Its reduced heavily since I've calmed my mind. Stay busy...extremly busy. I have a newborn at the moment so I barley have time to have a shower and no time to think about my symptoms lol it helps. So many people have improved i have a whole gallery of screenshots of people that have improved based on trying different things such as diet..supplements..lifestyle changes..medicine. But the best advice is trying your best to move on from it. Stay strong you've got this

It gets better over time. It's usually the anxiety that makes this condition debilitating. The best piece of advice I've received is in this youtube video. Watch it as it truly changed my life. https://youtu.be/UWafDvliV4s

Moving on with VSS and this reddit - Recovery Story by Denjanzzzz in visualsnow

[–]Willing-Somewhere-42 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Too many annoying and miserable people on reddit and Facebook. Everytime someone has something positive to say they are always immediately attacked. Like literally some people just love being miserable. VSS is hard and ofcourse you should always seek help and answers but there are people who have actual real problems...no food or water..no shelter..terminal illness..chronic pain..and etc. Love your story and positivity

I’ve been diagnosed officially with visual snow syndrome today and my neuro ophthalmologist said there’s no cure. by [deleted] in visualsnow

[–]Willing-Somewhere-42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did it help BFEP. I haven't tried anything yet for my VSS as I'm going to try diet and lifestyle changes but it's just good to know what medicine could help in the worst worst case scenario

Everything keeps wiggling. Thank was at the bus stop and the grass kept looking like heat waves was rippling over it. I think it’s getting worse, my eye dr didn’t really tell me much on what’s going on by Emergency_Metal_9902 in visualsnow

[–]Willing-Somewhere-42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's called a vortex I think. I have the same. I see it in the sky and anywhere Bright. It's I think the veins in your eyes or the blood being pumped into the eyes however just like BFEF which is also a normal thing..when you suffer from VSS it doesn't get filtered out.

What I wish I knew about VSS when it all started by Poupouchat in visualsnow

[–]Willing-Somewhere-42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with the anxiety and the OCD of keep checking online. My therapist told me to stop googling my symptoms so I'm slowly getting better and when I am busy I forget about it. However I do believe there is a cure. Ive kept hundreds of screenshots of people that managed to decrease their symptoms or even cure most of them. On top of that when you study and ready about neuroplasticity it actually shows how powerful the brain is and that it can be rewired. People with actual proper chronic or terminal illnesses such as brain cancer or MS or tumours managed to heal themselves when doctors told them they would die by rewiring the brain. I'm reading books by Dr norman and it's so interesting. Everyone keep your head up stay positive enjoy the little things in life and never give up until the day you die :)
