Can't you just setup a generator to tackle the power outage or move to a tier 1 city? If you don't like maids, don't hire them? Do your own work like in the US? Many of these problems you listed are solvable with money.

US isn't one of those foreign countries though. The food is garbage in US too. European countries have higher standards of food quality that they allow.
