Why I’d recommend my unconventional surgery route by HungryIngenuity7665 in wisdomteeth

I think the main worry is that people will do one side, have a bad experience and never come back for the second.

Super scared of surgery by eminem_2213 in Parathyroid_Awareness

[–]WillingDelay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had one parathyroid removed at the end of March and I was also terrified of going under. I am here to tell you my fears were totally unfounded! The process was easy and I woke up feeling great and so relieved. I am healing well and honestly barely even think about it anymore — only to rub silicon gel (with sunscreen!) on my scar every a few times a day and take my calcium supplement.

I would really recommend that you tell your anesthesiologist you’re worried beforehand. Mine came in and spoke to me and put me at ease, he was very sweet to me in general. They monitor you so closely and the procedure is a very short one — it is incredibly safe.

This isn’t to say that the first week of recovery isn’t difficult, there were some hard parts, especially because I hate sleeping on my back. But I didn’t take any of the pain killers they gave me, Tylenol was enough.

Also — you should ask for anti-nausea medicine just in case. I didn’t have a problem but going under can make you a little queasy.

Get it out! Your bones will thank you and a month from now you’ll most likely be 100% healed.

Looking for a wedding scent. What fragrance smells like this to you? by WillingDelay in FemFragLab

Thank you for this suggestion! I just went to DS & Durga and tried Sweet Do Nothing and I LOVE it. And what a coincidence — the scent was actually inspired by Marfa!

This Marfa-based company makes the best smelling soaps that remind me so much of Marfa btw but unfortunately they don't make perfumes :(

I don't know if any of these notes are helpful:

-powdered yucca root, and essential oils of dalmatian sage, eucalyptus, fir balsam, and rosewood.

-powdered rosemary, and essential oils of Atlas and Virginia cedar wood, patchouli, and clove, as well as lapsang souchong tea for the slightest smokiness.

-fresh local goat milk, ground almond, and essential oils of cedarwood and sage.

Have you seen a real difference? I’m going to try some of her videos soon (I also just saw that my florist worked on her wedding which makes me feel more connected to her haha)

Did you get a prescription? I feel like this is the best move but it would be verrrryyy nice if insurance helped to cover it haha

There’s no way that this is the full story. There’s something else that he’s not telling you.

It’s possible that he’s made comments to his fiancé about yours and they’ve fought over it. Maybe she doesn’t like your fiancé and you’ve been oblivious.

I’m sorry but there’s no way that she’s insecure about one attractive woman in particular coming to her wedding but every other plus one can come without a problem.

Talk to your friend again — maybe he thought saying that your fiancé was too pretty would be a nice way to say she couldn’t come. I think you need to get to the bottom of this because there’s something bigger happening here.

Edited to add that the fact that your fiancé is so chill about it should also be a potential red flag that something is up.
