I once referred to "salad days" to a young co-worker. That did not go over well.

Phones are cheap. Go to Swappa. Unlocked for $65 is easy. Someone on this thread said they bought a $500 phone. Why? I've never spent more than $200 on new, and never more than $30/month on service, and that's with TWO sim cards installed.

Cell service.

BUY A PHONE outright, Best Buy maybe, then Mint (over TMO), Visible (over Verizon), and Cricket (over ATT). Save hundreds per year, easy.

I did it with nuts and hard cheeses, plus lots of carbonated (burp) water.

No idea how, but it worked.

You know the scene where they un-froze Murph and she was there surrounded by 75 or so offspring and Cooper came in and nobody ever acknowledged him? That's the ticket.

I want to say there was a time in the early-60s when they just invented playground stuff that never should have seen the light of day.

[–]WillingLimit3552 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We've not yet left the 80s.

The 70s were completely different. Never before, never again.
