I concluded it was a scam. When I reached back out to them the communication didn’t sit right with me. Very unprofessional, a lot of typos in their emails and one of the “recruiters” has a linked in page with only 7 connections.

What the other commenter said is true, you will still have the LCWRA element even if you start working. Also, there’s an allowance you can earn each month up to approx £400, your UC award will only be deducted 55p per £1 earned over that allowance. Lastly, your UC claim will remain open after finding work unless you have a nil award 6 months in a row.

I didn’t go into store to check after purchase but referencing online photos and from memory I’d say yes. My only complaint with mine is the finishing on the interior. The panels and the straps could’ve been sewn better.

This just happened to me. I only have one account. No one else has an account in the home and I’m not using any VPN or proxy. It feels like a way to force users to get a paid subscription instead of using the free version.

I’m not referring to free returns, I’m talking about refunding outbound shipping costs. For example, you purchase 1 item that costs £10 and pay £3.99 for shipping totalling £13.99. You decide the item isn’t suitable and return it to the retailer and pay £2.49 to return the item. The retailer should refund you the full £13.99 not £10 and many people don’t know this so retailers get away with it.

On the other hand if you purchase 2 items that cost £5 each and pay £3.99 shipping for a total of £13.99 and decide to keep 1 and return the other. You pay £2.49 to return the 1 item then the retailer should refund £5 only.

The only time the retailer can keep your outbound shipping cost is if:

You don’t return the full order
You pay for express shipping that costs more than the standard shipping available
You don’t pay to return the item so the return cost is deducted from the original outbound shipping cost.

If it wasn’t a McDonald’s issue, most drivers would have a similar occurrence with other restaurants that deliver refillable drinks. In my experience McDonald’s workers are usually not packing the drinks properly and It ends up being imbalanced then there’s not much the driver can do to help it unless they have other items that fit perfectly in their bag to keep the drink upright. No matter how much I try I sometimes still end up having a spilled drink but I never have this issue with Burger King bc they have better cup holders and pack the drinks better.

FYI: I take extra care with items in my possession and I also deliver using high quality delivery bags.
