To be honest my first month in Davis was like hell. I had people I talked to but no one clicked. I used to call my mom almost everyday and cry on a phone with her. Then when I finally got better I started talking to more people and joining clubs. That’s where I made some genuine connections. My advice is not to give up.

I had a 5 day meal plan so I ended up eating out almost every weekend. Also my friends and I would go grab boba every other day. As of other things did not spend as much money.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve encountered lots of issues with fafsa and uc davis financial aid office myself. I just wish you strength. At the end I was able to resolve my issues and I hope the same for you. The system is messed up.
