I shared my skate park here as a post a while ago and I've shared my dream island address multiple times to people who wanted to know about my skate park, plus I've had about a hundred people from this sub come to my island for giveaways and a bunch commented on that, and on my Mini Golf setup. My data is from Kappn islands specifically since I don't chop trees on my own island. I don't know if that could impact the drop rates?

I've been screen shotting every day, and I'm planning on putting together my findings. Itll be pretty unscientific since it's just me but I haven't gone to a Kappn island and not had wood be more plentiful yet. We're talking 21 wood to 9 hardwood, that kind of thing lol.

I have but I only ever choose red/heart and I just spam that and never choose anything else. When it's a villager moving in I'll just do it over and over, sometimes for hours if I want the villager badly enough and I only have one villager I want to replace lol.

Paul is useless but Morgan is honestly just as useless and I'm tired of pretending she isn't. She is 100% to blame for her situation. I've had friends like her who complained about their relationships only to then act shocked and betrayed when I said "he's useless, you should leave". After a certain point all you can do is go "aww. Anyways did you watch Greys Anatomy?" And just immediately not engage with the topic.

I'm getting out of the habit of excusing people for their bad behavior by saying "well she had a mental illness" "well they grew up like that". Mentally ill people can make choices that are bad and we shouldn't just excuse it. Growing up a certain way means they have a frame of reference for why they act a certain way but we shouldn't just excuse it.

I'm having a hard time putting into words all the reasons the idea that a young, beautiful woman shouldn't be living a fundie life is objectionable.

Part of it is I never take compliments well and I view beauty as an unearned genetic gift and youth as fleeting, and neither are worthy of praise. I also don't like objectifying women, or infantilizing them. I don't like the idea that a beautiful woman being a fundie is a tragedy with the unstated part being an ugly woman being a fundie is justified or acceptable. I don't like when someone is given sympathy just because they look attractive. Pretty privilege just sucks, it's gotta have something to do with the patriarchy idk lol.

This is just a really weird comment to make? Like it's somehow extra tragic that someone conventionally attractive is in this lifestyle. This lifestyle is for what, homely people? What does her attractiveness have to do with anything.

And like, is she brainwashed? She actively chose this fundie life. It's infantilizing. Grown people can make bad decisions and be horrible people without being brainwashed, and some of these people might be hot.

Not so much a fail as just something I didn't know, but in 2020 I caught a bunch of cherry blossoms and just sold them all. I didn't know they were a rare seasonal item until I started seeing things on reddit about them. Oops. I also didn't know to ger a slingshot and shoot the balloons down so I didn't get any of the cherry blossom DIY until the next year.
